The experience at this hotel was beyond words. Excellent location since it was a 10 minute walk from the Belem Cultural Center where my conference took place. The room was large and very comfortable. It included a sitting area within the room. The window was very large and as a result the room had always light. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. That cleaning lady even folded my nightgown every day. The bed has huge, always well made with obviously clean and ironed sheets and a very comfortable mattress. The room was made early in the morning (instead of at 3 or 4 pm). The breakfast was excellent. A large variety of products, including very fresh fruit and everything else you may desire. The personnel was beyond words polite, warm and professional (but not in the cold meaning of the word). I am not sure what else to write. It was one of the few times (and I travel quite often) that I felt that this hotel, which was not cheap, was worth every penny!!!

Excellent staff! Friendly, professional and very helpful. Perfect location in the centre of town near a large park, the river, train station and ferry terminal. Lovely building, too.

Excellent room, spacious, convenient and clean. Centrally located in Belem, near Pasteis de Belem and other attractions. We were lucky to stay there one night during a bank holiday, so the place was quiet and without the crowds (although the monastery was closed).

The decor was fantastic. Plush, well designed, very elegant. With Roman baths at the entrance! The breakfast was great, the staff were incredible! As we were checking out, they had packed us cookies and water! They also provided us with a wheelchair as soon as they saw we had an older person with us. Honestly, they were just amazing, friendly, smiley, helpful... I don't know how you could possibly ask for more?!

Excellent central Belem location, very quiet and warm (which is important in Portugal) due to heating in the flat, not super new but well maintained. Good stable internet, there is everything for living and cooking.
