The other owner Maureen was such a delight to talk to and get to know also. This property is not a house it is in fact a home! My partner and I felt welcome from the minute we walked in the door and will most certainly be staying here regularly over the coming months. Not to mention the absolute softies Bailey, Bonnie & Clyde. I have never come across more calm and loving dogs!

The hosts were the nicest and most helpful people we’ve ever met. The location next to the lake was lovely for a nice morning run and to experience what a true wetlands part of Ireland breathes like. An amazing experience and will most definitely be returning in the future. P.S. the breakfast was spot on!

Ard Aoibhinn Roscommon Bed & Breakfast features garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Lecarrow, 8.2 km from Claypipe Visitors Centre. Each accommodation at the 3-star bed and breakfast has quiet street views, and guests can enjoy access to a garden and to a shared lounge. The bed and breakfast has family rooms. Doris and Kevin were the perfect hosts, beautiful home and the breakfast was fabulous, great nights sleep. Rooms bigger than you would expect and to be woken by birdsong was an added extra. The local pubs were about a mile or so down the road with a harbour if you fancy a walk.Athlone town only 10 minutes away if you fancy a more lively night out taxis available. All in all a great find and most definitely would recommend and hope to revisit in the near future.
