You have found your urban resort in Colmar: L'Esquisse, a 5-star Hotel & Spa in the heart of the historic centre. A new hotel. In a wonderful location, just in the middle of Colmar park. Every corner of the hotel is very well decorated. We stayed in a room overlooking the park and the room quality was very high. We didn't use the indoor pool and spa but we visited and liked it very much. We stayed in a room with 2 children aged 8 and 11. They made the couch into a bed and the children were very comfortable. We had a great sleep. We really liked the breakfast. The lounge overlooks the park and it is a peaceful environment. There may not be a very large variety but the product quality and taste are very good. The parking lot is right in front of the hotel and they provide fast service for both the car and the luggage. They provide very warm service both during check-in and check-out and definitely make you feel good. We didn't use the hotel for dinner but after seeing the breakfast we thought we should have had dinner at the hotel.

The property is in a beautiful setting and has a very nice interior design. Everything is clean and the spa team was very friendly and did a great job. Dinner was also nice and the dining staff were very professional and accommodating. When we arrived late around 9:30pm, the restaurant manager, I believe, let us know that the restaurant is closed but they can whip up a charcuterie plate for the group.

Situated in the pedestrian area around Place Kléber, the historic Maison Rouge features ancient stained-glass windows and rooms decorated with individual character. The staff was truly exceptional. All staff members had been very professional, discreet and caring when we experienced a stressful medical emergency.
