The rooms, staff, and location were wonderful! We had cocktails at the rooftop bar, amazing! Dinner and breakfast at the restaurant were excellent!

Set at an altitued of 500 metres above the sea level, at the foot of Mount Etna, Monaci delle Terre Nere is 2 km outside the town of Zafferana Etnea. This place is just something special. Absolutely fantastic location with a magnificent view of vineyards and the sea. Here you can really relax and enjoy Sicily

We stayed for 4 nights from 29th June to 3rd July and had a fantastic time. Our room was so lovely & airy with a beautiful balcony at the side of the hotel. Very clean & decor was lovely too. The pool area was in a prime position with fantastic views out to sea. The staff were so very helpful with any queries we had. Lots of good recommendations from them regarding the local areas. They were so friendly & helpful - particularly Deanna who was always so cheery & enthusiastic & a huge credit to the hotel. Her reception colleagues were also very helpful & friendly. Shout out to Ivana, Alex, Elisia & Alessandro who were so friendly & engaging but all the staff were lovely.

Grand Hotel San Pietro Taormina features an outdoor pool and sun terrace, overlooking the Ionian Sea. Taormina's historical centre is a 15-minute walk away. Memorable stay for a perfect holiday. The ambience is great. The dining experience was great too. The staff are very very nice people. Free valet parking, free shuttle van to town centre. Nice interior design, have blended in the Sicily heritage with a modern touch. Amazing

Atlantis Bay is located on a cliff in Baia delle Sirene Bay. The property boasts a panoramic restaurant with veranda, a swimming pool, and a private floating sea platform. The staff, service, facilities and rooms are top. The location and view from the room is simply amazing.

Mazzarò Sea Palace is set above Taormina's beautiful Mazzaarò Beach. It has a wellness centre, its own sea-view pools and a free private beach. Being our first visit to Sicily we were amazed at the proficiency and professional kind attention we received from start to finish of our three night stay. The airport pick up arranged by the resort, the drive and the kindest of welcomes on arrival from Katerina made us feel already at home. The suite with the terrace with a grand view of the beach and ocean cannot be described in words but has to be experienced. The room, bathroom and the most comfortable bed you could relax in. Breakfast is a journey of its own. Vast variety of choices and a total experience as if one is on a journey of its own. The Armonia restaurant is an a league of its own. Try the red prawns fished locally and you will be addicted. The prawn Carpaccio took my wife's breath away, Linguine with Vongole is a must and Tiramisu takes you to gastronomical heaven. All washed down with Etna Rosato. Amazing staff, very attentive and professional all the way. Comfortable sunbeds and attentive service at your fingertips. The overall ambience, the kindness and care taken to make our short stay memorable is definitely on our Wishlist to return to

The 5-star Villa Sant'Andrea, A Belmond Hotel, Taormina mare offers a lovely setting overlooking the Mediterranea Sea, just a 5-minute drive from Taormina’s centre. Everything was perfect! We were there for our honeymoon so the staff kindly upgraded us and gave us a beautiful bottle of wine that we enjoyed on our balcony. The breakfast was incredible, everything was thought out, and the attention to detail was fantastic. It's so great that you can enjoy the hotel by the sea but then also get a free shuttle up to Taormina and have access to the other Belmond hotel as well. All in all, we'll definitely be going back as we loved every minute.

Taormina’s Grand Hotel Timeo, A Belmond Hotel, Taormina is opposite the Greek Theatre and offers panoramic views of Mount Etna and the Sicilian Coast. It features an outdoor pool and spa. First of all, the staff: they're incredible. Our stay was a honeymoon stay and they exceeded our expectations on all levels--there when you needed them and not when you didn't. We were able to enjoy the amazing Dior spa for a treatment which was one of the best we've ever had and the overall classic Sicilian vibe of the property/grounds is hard to match. Yes, the ultra-expensive Four Seasons down the street is also an incredible (and famous property) but for the value, charm, and equally grand history the Belmond Grand Timeo really can't be beat.
