The Golden Crown Hotel is a 5-star hotel located in Ampitya, Kandy, Srilanka. Stuff of this Hotel is very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is very good. Very clean. I strongly recommend this hotel to stay.

La piscina è spettacolare. Il giardino di manghi altrettanto, sembra di stare in un’oasi di pace. È stato un soggiorno bellissimo, sarei stata lì molto più giorni! Staff super e cibo ottimo!

This hotel was a lovely surprise, beautiful, incredible staff, the best food! Especially the breakfast. It's 30 min away from Kandy but the peace, the nature, it's very much appreciated. And it's easy to request a tuk tuk to take you to the city.

An absolute highlight during our trip to Sri Lanka - beautifully redone colonial estate with amazing indoor and outdoor areas (including a large pool - great for swimming laps or just enjoying the panoramic views across the hills and jungle). Super nice owners and staff - loved also the dinner! Overall cannot recommend The Flame Tree Estate enough - an absolute gem!

Inaugurato nel 2016, il Santani Wellness Kandy è stato insignito di numerosi riconoscimenti internazionali per il livello di servizio, la cucina e la spa. It was all so great I don't even know where to start from. The staff were super helpful and friendly (every single one of them), the food was Michelin-Star-Restaurant level, especially the Sri Lankan options, the rooms were very very clean, spacious, and so comfy that it was extremely relaxing even just staying on the balcony and listen to the birds, without any other sound disturbing in the surroundings. We stayed in the Garden View Chalet, and it was wonderful to be surrounded by all that nature (no TV in the rooms, that's a big plus!). The yoga lessons and the massages were also great, especially the afternoon yoga sessions with Rahul. In brief, if you really want to switch off and actually relax and take care of yourself, skip all the other places in the Hill Country and stay here instead. :)
