We got upgraded to VIP suite where we had both pool and lake view. The resort in itself is so beautiful and picturesque that we didn’t feel like leaving. Service is amazing and food is just wow. Local food for breakfast buffet along with English breakfast is available. Everything was just super perfect!!!

Offering an outdoor swimming pool, Hotel Tamarind Tree is located just 1.5 km from the beautiful Tissa Wewa and 2 km from Tissamaharama City. Free WiFi access is available. We loved the location of this hotel. It was beautiful. Our main purpose was to go for Safari, and this hotel is perfectly located from Yala National Park. They even packed us breakfast at 5am, so we can take it with us to Safari. We spent an afternoon at the pool, (and had it all to ourselves which was also a bonus). The food was great, and we had the buffet there. The staff were all amazing. Everyone that worked there, were quite young, but incredibly professional, polite and kind, and they all really went out of their way to help us.
