From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and comfortable, making our stay truly memorable. The hotel itself is a beautifully restored estate home, converted with great care to create a **lovely and cozy atmosphere**. We appreciated the **drinking water available on tap**, which added a nice touch of convenience. The **raindrop shower** was another highlight, featuring excellent water pressure and unlimited hot water—perfect for a relaxing start to our day. Speaking of mornings, the **breakfast at the hotel restaurant** was delightful, offering a variety of delicious options that fueled our adventures in San Cristóbal. Overall, the combination of the staff's warmth and the hotel's charm made our visit special, and we will certainly return on our next trip! Having NFL RedZone was a huge bonus for me during American football season.

This is a beautiful little hotel with friendly staff. The facilities were really clean and the location was great for exploring San Cristobal a little.

El Casa del Alma Hotel Boutique & Spa está situado en el colorido centro del casco antiguo de San Cristóbal de las Casas. The location was great, very clean room, just like the pictures. They also offered us an alcoholic welcoming drink which was a nice touch.

El Hotel Boutique Quinta Chanabnal está rodeado de jardines tropicales y se encuentra a 5 km del yacimiento arqueológico de Palenque. We have been travelling for three weeks but this was our favourite place. We stayed in a junior suite which was huge, well-appointed and had a balcony with seating. The place feels very tropical and has lots of trees and a lake and a cascading pool area. We ate dinner here and the menu featured a range of traditional Mayan dishes that were delicious. There were a couple of families of howler monkeys in the surrounding trees and listening to them in the morning and at dusk was incredible. Staff were all great and we would have loved to have stayed longer than 4 nights. Very hard to leave this special place right in the jungle. It was only 4km from the ruins, we caught a taxi there, but walked back via a very good footpath.

Este hotel está rodeado de jardines tropicales en Palenque y cuenta con 2 piscinas al aire libre y un spa de estilo maya. We really liked our stay Villa Mercedes. The rooms were clean and spacious. The pool area and hammock by the pond were great. Really enjoyed the sounds of frogs and cows in the distance. The bathroom didn’t have any fan, that’s all I can think of as a minus.

Family of 6 arrived for a one night stay to the hotel to go to the waterpark next door for Saturday and Sunday. Arrived early to take advantage of water park hours. Check in was easy and clerk was friendly. We had a family room (Room No. 5) which was actually a casita with a full kitchen, A/C in both bedrooms and lots of space, which was fantastic. Beds were a little hard for our liking. TVs in both rooms were huge, but not smartTVs. Internet worked well as did the mini fridge, coffee maker and microwave. When you stay at the hotel it included the waterpark entrance which was about $10 USD per person so good value. Hotel also provided a hot breakfast with good service. We would definitely return. Most important for us was that the hotel was clean, nobody got sick from the food, rooms were cold and parents had some privacy.
