Our stay at the hotel was a wonderful experience, largely thanks to the **exceptionally kind and accommodating staff**. From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and comfortable, making our stay truly memorable. The hotel itself is a beautifully restored estate home, converted with great care to create a **lovely and cozy atmosphere**. We appreciated the **drinking water available on tap**, which added a nice touch of convenience. The **raindrop shower** was another highlight, featuring excellent water pressure and unlimited hot water—perfect for a relaxing start to our day. Speaking of mornings, the **breakfast at the hotel restaurant** was delightful, offering a variety of delicious options that fueled our adventures in San Cristóbal. Overall, the combination of the staff's warmth and the hotel's charm made our visit special, and we will certainly return on our next trip! Having NFL RedZone was a huge bonus for me during American football season.

Amazing restaurant, decor and bar. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful and service was first rate. Everyone who worked there made sure I was so well taken care of and comfortable.

Featuring a spa and a restaurant, Casa del Alma Hotel Boutique & Spa is located in the centre of San Cristóbal de las Casas. It offers free parking and attractive suites with free Wi-Fi. The location was great, very clean room, just like the pictures. They also offered us an alcoholic welcoming drink which was a nice touch.

Set in tropical gardens, Hotel Boutique Quinta Chanabnal is 5 km from Palenque Archaeological Site. Resembling a Mayan palace, it offers outdoor pools with waterfalls, free Wi-Fi and spa. We have been travelling for three weeks but this was our favourite place. We stayed in a junior suite which was huge, well-appointed and had a balcony with seating. The place feels very tropical and has lots of trees and a lake and a cascading pool area. We ate dinner here and the menu featured a range of traditional Mayan dishes that were delicious. There were a couple of families of howler monkeys in the surrounding trees and listening to them in the morning and at dusk was incredible. Staff were all great and we would have loved to have stayed longer than 4 nights. Very hard to leave this special place right in the jungle. It was only 4km from the ruins, we caught a taxi there, but walked back via a very good footpath.

Set in tropical gardens in Palenque, this hotel has 2 outdoor pools and a Mayan-style spa. Located in a collection of charming thatched buildings, rooms feature satellite TV and a private bathroom. We really liked our stay Villa Mercedes. The rooms were clean and spacious. The pool area and hammock by the pond were great. Really enjoyed the sounds of frogs and cows in the distance. The bathroom didn’t have any fan, that’s all I can think of as a minus.

It is beautiful, bright, well decorated and super high tech. Comfortable bed, hot water, fast wifi and loved all the lighting options.

Family of 6 arrived for a one night stay to the hotel to go to the waterpark next door for Saturday and Sunday. Arrived early to take advantage of water park hours. Check in was easy and clerk was friendly. We had a family room (Room No. 5) which was actually a casita with a full kitchen, A/C in both bedrooms and lots of space, which was fantastic. Beds were a little hard for our liking. TVs in both rooms were huge, but not smartTVs. Internet worked well as did the mini fridge, coffee maker and microwave. When you stay at the hotel it included the waterpark entrance which was about $10 USD per person so good value. Hotel also provided a hot breakfast with good service. We would definitely return. Most important for us was that the hotel was clean, nobody got sick from the food, rooms were cold and parents had some privacy.
