Alles war super. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, die Zimmer schön. Das Hotel liegt etwas außerhalb von Kathmandu, dafür sehr ruhig und mit einer wunderschönen Aussicht. Wir würden wiederkommen!

Barahi was centrally located in Thamel but in an easy walking distance away from the crowded streets, giving both access to the area but more quiet feel. Taxis were well aware of the hotel location so it was easy to hop on and communicate as well. The breakfast was good and their Chia tea (Chai tea) and plain Lassi were delicious!

After conducting research, I selected Hotel New Era. I was highly impressed with its clean and comfortable rooms and additional facilities. I highly recommend it!

I think there really is not enough time to tell everything about what I loved about Basera Boutique Hotel. After getting off the airplane at Tribhuvan International Airport, I met my driver, who came to pick me up in the hotel's van. Since it took time for me to get my visa and to clear through customs and such, he had been waiting for over an hour to meet me. He was still very kind as he answered my questions in English and helped to welcome me to Nepal, which was my first time. After about 20 minutes, I noticed a beautiful structure in front of me, which was exactly the same as the amazing pictures used to advertise the hotel. As we pulled into the entrance, we were greeted by a security guard who opened my door and saluted me, welcoming me to the hotel. After my bags were taken to the front desk, I was greeted by, I believe, a man named Kushal. At first, I did not know if this very kind-hearted, extremely caring, and informative man was typical of the staff in the hotel and Nepalese in general. Before giving me a key, telling me about the hotel, and trying to get the paperwork out of the way, Kushal asked me how my trip was, where I was from, whether it was my first time coming to Nepal, and what would I be doing during my stay. I welcomed this type of kindness very much. However, Kushal's kindness was not an anomaly at the hotel. The next morning for breakfast, I was greeted by a similar kind soul at the restaurant. The waitress was so welcoming and kind-hearted as she guided me around the absolutely amazing buffet-style breakfast. There was an impressive mix of Nepalese food and Western food. I remember the delicious French toast that came with three different types of syrups, plus several different types of bread, countless types of vegetables and fruit, and made-to-order dishes like omelets. Delicious food, amazing traditional Nepalese atmosphere, and second-to-none service are only a few of the items waiting for you in Basar Boutique Hotel.

Vom Empfang bis zur Abreise war alles perfekt. Sehr sauberer Pool, um diese Jahreszeit allerdings etwas zu kalt.

We returned from EBC trek and booked into Aloft. From start to finish we were impressed with the hotel. It’s in an ideal location in Thamel area. Rooftop cocktail bar and restaurant is incredible. Extremely comfortable beds. Beautiful smell/scent around entire hotel. The Swimming pool although it was on a different floor to sauna and steam room it was the highlight of our stay.

Erst kürzlich eröffnetes Hotel. Im Restaurant (12. Stock) hat man eine atemberaubende Sicht über Kathmandu. Frühstück und Essen sind sehr gut und reichhaltig. Das Personal ist extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Massagen sind empfehlenswert.
