We returned from EBC trek and booked into Aloft. From start to finish we were impressed with the hotel. It’s in an ideal location in Thamel area. Rooftop cocktail bar and restaurant is incredible. Extremely comfortable beds. Beautiful smell/scent around entire hotel. The Swimming pool although it was on a different floor to sauna and steam room it was the highlight of our stay.

Lovely hotel in traditional style with a modern twist. My room was big enough, with exceptionally comfortable bed and big bathroom. Very clean. Breakfast was delicious, and it was real pleasure to sit and eat outside. Staff were kind and efficient. One evening a local dancing group made a performance for guests - so nice! Everything went smoothly and therefore I can only recommend this extraordinary hotel.

The staff went above and beyond to make sure I felt taken care of, from helping with currency exchange to arranging small details whenever I needed support. I liked everything. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. When I mentioned I couldn’t make it to the buffet breakfast, they kindly served it in my room. They also helped me exchange dollars into Nepalese currency, which made my stay so much easier.
