What a splendid spot. Tucked right by the park entrance, it offers remarkable convenience without sacrificing an ounce of tranquillity. Waking up to those peaks each morning was rather special. The team here runs a tight ship – everything is spotless and handled with quiet efficiency. The breakfast set us up perfectly for the day. We shall certainly return.

Zhangjiajie National Forest Park Camping is a gem that allowed us to admire the stunning rock columns of Zhangjiajie from afar at night. It’s just a few meters away from the start of the trail to Golden Whip. Robin provided excellent service, with impeccable English for seamless communication with foreigners. The accommodations are what you would expect when camping out, including a tent, sleeping bag, inflatable pillow, blanket, and a camping lamp. Additionally, the campsite offers the convenience of hot showers, a washing machine, and electrical outlets. The food they served us was really good. They also have a cafe that we didn’t get to try.

Offering free toiletries, this tent includes a private bathroom with a walk-in shower, a hairdryer and slippers. Amazing location within the park, we were able to go for a run to viewpoints before it was open to the public and have the whole place to ourselves.
