One of the highlights was the fantastic dinner—delicious, well-prepared. It truly brought the whole experience together. Whether it was the comfortable accommodations, the peaceful surroundings, or the thoughtful hospitality, everything exceeded our expectations. Dieses Zelt verfügt über einen Balkon, einen Kamin und einen Sitzbereich. Beautiful place, the view is beautiful. They offered us a coconut juice upon arrival. The breakfast was really good, the orange juice was fresh orange juice. There is AC in the tent and a fan, it was cool and smelled really nice. It's surrounded by nature, the shower area was so beautiful, it's outside and you get the full nature experience. There is no bus to el mirador from miramar, so make sure you plan yourself well to get there. I was informed by a local that the taxis from miramar charge 15 000 colones to go to el mirador ( its a 15 minute car ride from miramar to el mirador). If you're leaving from san jose, you have to take a bus from san jose to barranca then you have to take a bus from barranca to miramar. The bus from barranca to san jose, it's roughly 1h30 minutes or 2 hours, depending on the bus and route you take. When we returned to san jose, the bus from miramar to barranca cost us 1000 colones for 2, and the bus from barranca to san jose cost 7000 colones each. It's a very romantic place, we had a good time. Also, make sure you are not bothered by bugs, because at times at night, bugs come inside the tent, spiders, flys, we had to put the AC on and we also closed the lights to prevent more of them from coming inside. If you have anxiety with bugs, spiders, then think carefully, as there will be bugs in the toilet area and inside the tent. It's a unique experience, I really loved it. It was raining when we arrived, so we were laying down, watching the rain, and enjoying the beautiful view. You can see the full moon in the middle of the night, very beautiful moment. Also when you cook, the kitchen is outside, so make sure you buy a mosquito spray because there is a lot of mosquitos in the area or you can just order from local restaurants, cost us 11 000 colones for two meals and that was including delivery.

An unforgettable glamping experience in Costa Rica. I was looking for peace and a connection with nature — and found so much more. The sound of the river, forest trails, and bird-filled mornings were magical. The dome is comfortable, clean, with a kitchen, spacious bathroom, and hot water. Thank you Jenny & Nicolás for creating such a special place. I’ll be back!

Hatten eine fantastische Zeit bei Danger und Lis. Die zwei sind unglaublich sympathische und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Es war wirklich eine besondere Unterkunft auf unserer Mittelamerika Reise. Die Dschungeltour mit Danger ist absolut zu empfehlen. Er führt einen durch quasi unberührte Natur. (Vielleicht besser wie im Nationalpark, wo es doch sehr touristisch zugeht). Die Nighttour ist ebenfalls sehr empfehlenswert, man bekommt jede Menge Tiere zu Gesicht. Lis bereitet sehr liebevoll traditionelles Essen zu und die Zimmer inkl. Einrichtung sind von Danger mit den Resourcen seines Waldes errichtet worden. Kurz gesagt: Man hat hier wirklich ein einzigartiges Erlebnis!

The tent's kitchenette, which has a microwave and a tea and coffee maker, is available for cooking and storing food. Way To Heaven is truly a gem! We arrived late in the evening, and the owner kindly greeted us upon arrival and gave us a full tour of the property. To our surprise, he had prepared coffee, tea, fruit, snacks, and drinks to welcome us—such a thoughtful gesture that immediately made us feel at home. When we woke up the next morning, we were absolutely blown away by the view. Nestled in the heart of the cloud forest, the setting is nothing short of magical. The place itself is spotless, with an incredibly comfortable bed and soft bedding. Extra blankets were also available, which was a nice touch for the cooler nights. It’s super close to Monteverde town and all the major attractions and activities in the area. Don’t overthink it—just book! You won’t regret it.

In der Nähe der in Monteverde in der Region Puntarenas gelegenen Unterkunft Ananta Forest - Sunset & Gulf View - Glamping Dome and Mountain House befinden sich Sky Adventures Monteverde Park und... Es war eine traumhafte und ausgefallene Unterkunft in top Lage, nicht weit mit dem Auto entfernt von der Stadt. Viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten sind direkt in der Nähe! Die Unterkunft war sehr besonders, man wacht auf und hat aus dem Bett einen traumhaften Blick in die Ferne. Abends tolles Ambiente aus dem Whirlpool. Tagsüber kann man direkt am Balkon die Kolibris aus nächster Nähe beobachten. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden, sogar eine Backmischung für Pancakes mit Ahornsirup. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Die in der Region Puntarenas in Puerto Jiménez gelegene Unterkunft Finca Terra Incognita - Wood cabins in the jungle bietet kostenloses WLAN und einen kostenlosen Privatparkplatz. Pascal und Manuel sind die freundlichsten Gastgeber, die man sich vorstellen kann. Hier zu übernachten ist absolut besonders und für jeden Naturliebhaber ein Muss. Wir hätten diese Übernachtung hier nicht verpasst haben wollen. Die Hütte ist absolut komfortabel, sauber und großzügig gestaltet. Alles ist offen gehalten, dadurch hat man zu jeder Tages-und Nachtzeit einen wahnsinnig tollen Ausblick und ist der Natur ganz nah. Ihr Grundstück ist riesig und sie renaturieren große Flächen. An anderen Stellen bauen sie ihr eigenes Gemüse und Obst an, welches wir zum Frühstück genießen durften. Das Frühstück war soweit das beste, das wir in Costa Rica genießen durften- sehr lecker und reichhaltig. Sie haben unglaublich viele Tipps für Aktivitäten rund um ihr Anwesen- und alles, was wir gemacht/ besucht haben, war ein absoluter Volltreffer. Wer in den Corcovado Nationalpark gehen möchte, sollte unbedingt hier nächtigen. Wir können es nur empfehlen! Man sollte unbedingt einen Allradantrieb am Auto haben (4x4).
