Though at first the price seems high, when you think of what you would get from a travellodge or similar, then paying for extras link breakfast and drinks, there wasn't much difference for our family of four. The location is spectacular and you feel very much in the wild. We stayed for a night to break up a visit with family and as a Christmas treat and what a treat it was. The yurt is toasty warm thanks to the wood pellet stove, though the outdoor toilet in -7 degrees was a bit chilly! There were heated blankets in the beds though we ended up not needing them. The children loved the outdoor space, the fairy doors, whimsical tree house and mud kitchen. What made it so special for us was the view of the night sky, I don't think I have ever seen so many stars and to fall asleep looking at that through the skylight was so special. The hosts have supplied so many home comforts inside the yurt too, hot chocolate and teas and coffee, a box of board games, books and home made ornaments to compliment the space. The microwave and outdoor fire pit BBQ allowed us to cook a lovely meal and then breakfast was superb, continental style with eggs probably from the chickens in the coop nearby! Would I go back? ABSOLUTELY!

Henry è stato gentilissimo, ci ha accolto al check in e ci ha indicato dove mangiare a 5 minuti di strada. Inoltre, la colazione è stata ottima, ricca e molto accurata (Henry è stato disponibile a cambiare all'ultimo nostra necessità di colazione!). Il posto è pulito e dispone di lounge/TV/cane per due coccole.

La vista è panoramica da ogni punto, aperta sulle colline, con verde ovunque pascoli e pace totale. Le casette di legno sono molto accoglienti, sembra di essere in un villaggio di folletti, tutto è lindo, pulito e visitor friendly. Martin è stato di una gentilezza estrema, aiutandoci in tutto anche in problemi che non avevano niente a che fare con lui.

Forth Mountain Glamping si trova a Ballintlea, a 43 km da Campo da Golf di Carrigleade e 7,3 km da Irish National Heritage Park, in una zona dove potrete praticare l’escursionismo. Glamping stupendo immerso nella natura. Tutto molto pulito e organizzato

It was a pleasure to talk to him. Very nice stay (room, bathroom). Perfect renovation. Great. Place to stay.

The owner welcomed us and took the time to explain us all the on-site facilities and the surrounding region (where to eat in the village, where to walk in the evening to see the sunset) The pods are beautiful and very comfy The shared toilets are modern and clean There is a small kitchen accessible 24/24 and a larger well equipped kitchen open during the day There is a free parking on the property

The hosts were fantastic and the grounds beautiful. Comfortable bed, good towels and well appointed kitchen for several days of self-catering. A great location for walks and enjoying birdsong. We liked the outdoor patio in the sunshine and a cosy wood fire in the evening.

Absolutely loved our stay at The Canal Glamping! The room was cozy and clean and quiet, with a lovely view. The staff were super friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed, they even had a gas BBQ ready for us. The location was perfect for exploring Roscommon and Westmeath. Highly recommend for a comfortable and relaxing stay!
