Its glamping with a capital G, and very good value for money. Just a few km from the Wilpattu park entrance, we went on 2 safaris and of course saw Leopard, Sloth bear, elephant and a bunch of other species. But TBH it was the stay in this luxury camp, with its spacious safari style tent rooms, its wonderful staff and food that was amongst the best we had in Sri Lanka. I 100% recommend staying here.

La strada per raggiungere il lodge non è ben indicata e google maps sbaglia, ma come sempre in Sri lanka con l'aiuto dei locali tutto si risolve, Le tende sono prive di insetti, le aperture hanno le zanzariere, la stanza è molto pulita e lo spazio sufficiente. Cena e colazione sono ottime adatte al gusto occidentale. In stanza è presente un bollitore con the e caffè. ci hanno organizzato un safari a wilpattu national park con jeep privata e naturalista che assolutamente consiglio per la bravura del naturalista e del driver- coazione e pranzo al sacco sono forniti dal lodge, l'ingresso del parco è a 10 min di auto

The fireplace is the standout feature of this tent. The tent features a washing machine, a private entrance, as well as a private bathroom boasting a walk-in shower and a bath. Everyone was super nice. It was quiet and they accommodated all my wishes. I wanted to extend for two more days and it was no problem at all. The safari that I booked through them was amazing and the transfer that they organized was perfect. Happy to go back Thanks so much 😊

This unique tent is set on the border of the National Park and comes with a private bathroom. Esperienza autentica in tenda, vicino all'ingresso del parco di wilpattu. Tour serale all'interno del campeggio estremamente consigliato. Bisogna sempre considerare che è un campeggio e si sta dormendo in tenda, quindi non c'è da aspettarsi i servizi di un hotel. Bellissima atmosfera alla cena organizzata

È stata una bellissima esperienza. Si respirava un’atmosfera unica. La tenda è molto grande, comoda e pulita! Tutto lo staff gentilissimo! Abbiamo fatto una cena a lume di candela, tutto superbo!

Glamping Wilpattu by Thamaravila prevede una piscina, un giardino, un bar e la vista sul giardino nella città di Wilpattu. Tutti gli alloggi hanno il WiFi gratuito. Could not recommend Thamaravila more! Everything was fantastic from the welcome to the safari and everything in between. The service was fantastic and all staff were extremely friendly. The traditional Sri Lankan food was delicious. Our safari experience was also amazing, seeing elephants, sloth bears and leopards all in one day! Thanks to Priya who was our very knowledgeable guide on the day. The rooms were very spacious and the location is so quiet and peaceful.

If you are as lucky as I was, your cozy home has an outdoor shower directly under a palmtree!! I loved it! Harshan and his lovely side kicks Mom and Aunt make you feel welcome from the moment you enter the gate and make sure you have the best time with everything you need. The food they cook is amazing and I would highly recommend you ask the ladies to cooked what they would like to cook that day; they will keep surprising your tast buds with fresh new flavors! Your new Sri Lankan Mom can prepare a big ass squid in 15 min. and it was the best meal I had in Sri Lanka (and I do no even like squid, haha). Perfect for sporty guests, because the windsurf & kite school is only a 10 min. walk down the road, you can go for a work out in the gym or do yoga in the garden. More layback? Not to worrry; take a free bicycle for a spin to the other side of the bay and relax! Many many thanks for my wonderfull stay!
