The property is gorgeous and very natural. There are no eye-sores, everything is very blended with nature. The two swimming pools were really lovely and the restaurant buffet dinners were delicious. The best part was the general manager who went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. He engaged with our kids and made sure they stayed busy with basketball, volleyball, arranged a village walk across the river, and made special arrangements on our safari to celebrate my son's birthday. He was like a traditional hotel general manager who treats everybody like his personal guest. It's a really special place and definitely a great base for visiting both Udawalawe and Yala parks.

This unique tent is set on the border of the National Park and comes with a private bathroom. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. In particular, our guide Solomons made the safaris and nature walk so much fun and he was so knowledgeable. We appreciated the upgraded tent!

This property was beautiful and FULL of life. You could hear how alive the jungle is. The hosts were absolutely wonderful. There was a big rain storm when we arrived, making it difficult to get up the road, but they helped our driver. The room was unique and our kids enjoyed the property. The food was out of this world. Definitely request dinner when you arrive. You can truly tell how passionate the host is about cooking and sharing food with you. He even tried a new recipe on us, and it was to die for! It's still our best food experience in our 15 days in Sri Lanka.
