Questo 10 non è perché è perfetta la struttura, ma perché ha gli elementi necessari per farti sentire bene e a casa. Il proprietario è davvero molto attento alle esigenze e le persone che ho incontrato erano molto gentili. È un campeggio quindi ti deve piacere il genere.

The tent offers a private entrance, a wardrobe, a terrace with garden views as well as a private bathroom featuring a shower. The unit offers 1 bed. A spectacular property in the forests with: - gardens that are manicured just at the right level - its own cenotes (you can swim in one semi-open one, not sure about the other ones) - its own cave that you can visit with a (Spanish) guide - a mirador just like in the pictures (only open in the morning and evening, but I'm sure if you asked you could go up during the day) - a bonfire place near the tents - a spa for massages Everything is beautifully designed and so well thought through. A few notes: - When we were there in July, the place was very quiet, which added to the magic. - In my head, I had expected more jungle (could have probably known better with more research). The "jungle retreat" was less jungl-y than a number of places we had come from between Valladolid and Celestun. No howler monkeys, no big snakes, etc. (I don't think) However, we did see a grey fox (!), iguanas and lots of beautiful birds and butterflies. - Because I wanted a full jungle immersion experience, I had booked a tent - they have a lot of "windows" and I thought you would be closer to nature than in a concrete house. However, since we visited in July with 36° C and high humidity, we decided to move to a suite (with AC; the tents have fans only of course). They were absolutely gorgeous (a shower open to the sky! a whirpool! a daybed! two hammocks!) and because there weren't very loud jungle noises at night anyway, I don't think we actually missed out. - The restaurant was great. You can probably drive to Tekit (we didn't), but I'm not sure there are many decent alternative food options there, so you might be a bit limited. - We brought many bottles of water. Turns out this was unnecessary - you get water everywhere. - Communication works via WhatsApp; they were very responsive and helpful. - The staff happily drove elderly people around in buggies. - This is a place to go to for pure relaxation. - The Internet was no problem at all.

Se sei amante del birdwatching è favoloso! Nel luogo stesso cenotes di vari tipi, uccelli e bestioline in ogni dove per sentirsi Alice nel paese delle meraviglie! Un posto che non dimenticherò mai, non è un hotel ma mille esperienze in una, senza contare che è in un posto strategico per raggiungere posti importanti dello Yucatan!

This tent's standout features are the pool with a view and hot tub. The location, facilities & the staff were terrific! Sleeping Giant Resort is located right off beautiful Humming Bird Hwy, not that far from Belmopan, close to Herman's Cave & The Blue Hole. I believe the whole resort & development covers 500 acres, so it feels like you are in your own world! We loved the bikes, hiking trails, bridges, lookout tower, animals (poultry, peacocks, sheep, horses, bunnies, turtles, birds), river/tubing, outdoor wood-fire pizza dining area, restaurants, pools, gardens, sitting areas, large rooms, everything was bonus! We felt like celebrities lol, all the staff was amazing, friendly, kind, so helpful! The higher price justified the inclusions & amenities. We came during low season & stayed in Riverview room #5, so it was a great value. We loved everything about this place & can't wait to return! Thank you <3
