I highly recommend Mountain Camp at Mesilau to anyone seeking a unique, and for me, nostalgic experience. Whether you're a nature lover or just looking to take a break from the fast-paced city life, the Mountain Camp ticks all the boxes.

The proximity to various attractions. The facility was very well-kept. Even though we stayed in a dormitory, it was clean and quiet. The food was good, and the staff was very friendly. I recommend staying more than one night

The staff was amazing, I lost my phone but got it back! Couldn't thank enough to the lady who found and kept my phone! The road going inside to the homestay is quite narrow and rocky. But you can park inside close to the homestay. The location of the homestay is quite close to the town (around 15-20mins), easy to commute in and out. The toilet is outside your room, not a sharing toilet. However, quite scary to go out in the middle of the night 😅

We saw lots of different fishes when snorkeling, and even saw a hornbill on the tree-top outside our tent. My son was very excited and happy about our stay in Ara Dinawan. If you plan to visit this island, recommend to stay at this resort instead of coming by one-day tour. You can enjoy the quite island and the private atmosphere from the late afternoon to the early morning.
