I absolutely love the gorgeous shower room, especially the raw cement finish! No need for slippers here; the organic feel and cleanliness are so refreshing for my feet. The antique wood thingy that have shower gel and shampoo dispensers are a delightful touch, and the "kuali" sink is a brilliant mix of tradition! The interior and furniture are gorgeous. I like it so much even the old design floor at the front hall. Overall, I can't wait to return! Please keep this place clean for future guests. It's perfectly located in Alor Setar, close to cafes and tourist sites.

I wasn’t a fan of the dorm rooms accommodating up to 16 people, especially since that detail wasn’t mentioned when I booked—it felt overcrowded. Luckily, there weren’t many people during my stay. Also, the entrance to the location, called ‘Tandoori House Cenang Hill’ or just ‘Cenang Hill,’ requires about an 9-minute walk in complete darkness at night unless you have a car or scooter, which makes it much easier. That said, the Langkawi staff were very friendly, and the location and sea were absolutely beautiful.”
