The kitchen and bathroom were surprisingly well stocked, while the dome itself was comfortable and packed with personal touches that made it feel cozy. Slept like a brick in this oasis. Views are stunning. Night sky is stunning. The hosts have manicured a small trail network on the farm with highlights such as the "labyrinth of love" and the "sea of tranquility". It was a wonderful touch and we appreciated feeling that care and effort went into the property. We will be back!

This tent features a barbecue. Our host, Alet, could not have been more welcoming or accommodating. He was very friendly and happy to answer our questions and queries. The isolated location was just what we were looking for. The safari tent was well kitted out and the supply of wood perfect for fuelling the braai and hot tub. Alet even gave us fresh dry wood when our pile got very soggy due to torrential rain!

These tented suites feature a private wooden deck and an en suite bathroom with an indoor and outdoor shower. Family run safari camp with hands on owners who love conservation and take great pride in the excellence of their guides. The guides were very knowledgeable and a special shout out to Abram who is wise beyond his years. We saw great wildlife up close and personal whilst still feeling totally safe. We did both a driven safari and a walking guided safari - both were excellent and memorable. The lodge was very special and Mare, a hand reared antelope, hangs out near the lodge, which is delightful.

This mobile home has a fireplace. The loft was so beautiful and elegantly designed and decorated! It was very comfortable and had everything one could need. It was peaceful and close to the main part of Franschhoek town. We will definitely be there again!

The hot tub and fireplace are the special features of this tent. Guests will find a stovetop, a refrigerator, kitchenware and a microwave in the well-equipped kitchen. It was in a great location and the facilities were perfect.

The tent provides air conditioning, a private entrance, a balcony with garden views as well as a private bathroom featuring a shower. The unit offers 1 bed. The property is gorgeous. Like a garden oasis with mountains and trees surrounding it. You drive through farms to get there, and one of our four accommodations has a view of both mountains and farmland. The other three had an enchanting view into a misty forest. So well maintained, with every little thing thoughtfully considered. We are already trying to figure out a way to bring visiting family back here.

Hartenbos Private Game Lodge is a privately-owned escape set in the malaria-free region of Hartenbos, Mossel Bay situated on the Garden Route. Very good communication from host, beautiful setting. Upgraded to a villa free of charge due to an issue with the tent we originally booked.

Featuring views of the Swartberg Mountains, each bush tent has its own open-air hot tub. There are coffee/tea facilities, plugs and in/outside lights, electric blankets, and a deck area. Everything was amazing! Especially the hosts Tracy and Karen; they were lovely! Would definitely recommend!! Thank you for having us 😊
