This place is an incredible maze with comfort and wellness hidden in almost every corner. The heated pools, the lounging areas, the adult only areas… It truly was an amazing, neat experience. This was our first holiday as a family of three with our 4 month old baby boy - it couldn't have been more perfect!! Booking rather last minute and I was only able to book half-board which I have never done before however we will be coming back and we will be booking half-board again. The breakfast and dinners are out of this world! The choices available are incredible! The room was wonderful, wonderful views of the mountains from both of our balconies. Just perfect! For anyone with small children who want to get out and experience the mountains still, this is the place for you, the paths up and down the valleys and even up the mountains to a few huts/peak pushchair accessible. The staff were all excellent, incredibly friendly and the owners are also wonderful, working alongside their team. This whole experience couldn't have been more perfect for our little Family, so many firsts for our Son and so many precious memories made! Thank you and we most definitely will be back! 🥺☺️🏞️🏖️

The apartment was a really nice size with everything we needed for a lovely holiday. The views were good, too. The relaxation area was an added bonus.Bettina and the staff helped with everything we needed.

Appartementhaus Tristenau is right next to Green 1 of the Achensee Golf Club, only a 10-minute walk away from the shore of Lake Achen. The spacious rooms and apartments have a balcony or terrace.

We had a great stay in Tristenau. Maria, the manager of the apartments, was very helpful at all times and even recommended us amazing hiking trips. The room was perfectly equipped and the beds very comfy. The kitchen was also very complete. On top of that, the sauna and the wellness area were very cozy too. However, our favorite thing has to be the breakfast, I woke up so excited every morning to have breakfast... amazing! We could also see sheeps through our window :) super cute. We would definitely repeat here. Thanks a lot for everything P&R

The two ladies at breakfast were so pleasant and made every effort to make sure we had everything we needed. Made waking up a pleasure. The breakfast buffet was the best we've ever had at any hotel. The lakeside lounge area was also special. The rooftop spa area was tastefully done with views over the lake and mountains, although a 2pm opening time for the sauna felt overly restrictive.

That was an excellent stay in Fortuna. That was above my expectation. The room was so clean and everything was available there. The location was good to reach ski lift (5mins by walk) and to go mountain hiking. You can find private sauna service in hotel. You can reserve your time and use it for your own family. Since it is hard to find that kind of chance due to mixed sauna tradition in EU, I was very happy to enjoy the facility with full privacy. I cooked my food by myself and all things were already there. They bring you bread for next morning. If you want to find comfort in room. silence in region, enjoy in mountain and affordable price in budget, just book Fortuna! Jessy's marmelade will make you more happy during your breakfast. During whole trip, there was no any 'drama'.
