Upon arrival my hostess was quick to come and meet me outside making me feel very welcome. My room was very spacious with room to spread out my large suitcase on the extra bed. A full spread for tea and coffee was set in my room including biscuits and proper tea cups & saucers. There was milk (not artificial whitener) for my tea in a fridge that we could also use for our food. The bed was extremely comfortable with lots of pillows as well as all the linens and towels were great quality. The common spaces were modern and comfortable. And the hostess checked in before I went to bed. Great location to a lovely beach I wish I had booked this property for more than one night.

Anne is the most attentive host from arrival until departure. Breakfast of choice was excellent. En-suite room spotless and all amenities provided. The shampoo was top-notch. Ruth welcomed us and showed us to our immaculately clean and well furnished room. It was a blustery day, yet we were so cosy. Breakfast was outstanding! Such a wonderful stay with a hostess who provided some great tips for our next stop. Lovely stay!

Buttermilk Lodge offers self-catering apartments 5 minutes' walk from Clifden town centre, you can just park your car and easily walk to town. Everything was perfect! The location, the interior, the beds were so darn comfy :) a walk-in shower, shower gel and shampoo were provided, the kitchen with all its appliances were new and in absolute perfect conditions! Walk into town was like 10 minutes. Overall it was just perfect!

The place was flawless and immaculate, with every possible facility/appliance you could imagine. 4 spacey bedrooms with big, comfy beds, huge living room - bread, sauces, spices, classy cutlery, great bathroom (shower with easy access), anything you could possibly think of! The place is in a beautiful area - perfect for those looking for something special and not crowded, to reboot, re-charge and just breathe! I went with my parents for their 40th Wedding Anniversary and we loved it instantly - each bit and every moment, wish we stayed longer but had a really busy schedule. We had a lovely walk to the near Foirnis Island, beautiful views, we are really glad we have chosen Audley's and recommend to absolutely everyone, especially those seeking serenity. THE NEW STANDARD! We celebrated my 60th birthday with 13 friends from all over the United States. We all stayed within Clifden town and enjoyed a night all together on the beautiful deck. Loved the location and kitchen/deck space. So convenient to all the shops, pubs, restaurants, and grocery store. Gerard was wonderful to work with- friendly and very responsive. It is an older home which some might not like but we loved it and would come back time and again.

We both loved our 3 night stay at Ben Gower. The house was very well equipped and so cosy. We slept really well as the rooms so quiet and dark. The cottages are at the end of a long fairly steep lane, so they really are very peaceful. Even the black faced sheep that amble about around the grassy areas don’t seem to make any noise! There was lots of space for guest parking and with several cottages available to rent this would be a perfect retreat for a group of family or friends. We would definitely recommend to others.
