The location, the staff is very, very helpful, the minibalcony right in front, the restaurant and the beach right in front of the rooms. Everything was simply perfect.

When we arrived we got welcomed by the owner of the hotel. The room was very beautiful, cozy, clean and with a good working air conditioning. The cleaning service did every day a great job. I’m our room we had the nice balcony with a sunset on the sea every night. From our balcony we could also see the swimming pool, with the hot weather it was really nice to go for a dive there and lay in the sun. Every morning we had a good and diverse breakfast. The staff was always really nice and polite, when we were going for dinner the owner of the hotel brought us to the city center. These 2 days we experienced as more than perfect and very lovely. I probably discovered one of my favorite places in the world. The studio where we slept was incredible, with a breathtaking view of the sea. We stayed (unfortunately) for just one night, and enjoyed a spectacular dinner at sunset and an amazing breakfast prepared by John and Christos. The place is beautiful but they, with their energy, make it super special. We hope to come back soon!

The place is great if you want to relax. Peaceful hills around, black skies at night…. A car is a must. Is it far from the beach or Monemvasia? No, but it all depends on your demands – check on Google Maps – it gives you a realistic idea. Privacy is complete (there are some houses not too far behind, and people live there, but I only met somebody once). For us, it was ideal. But this depends on your needs. For instance, we never met the host in 8 days there. I liked this fact, but this also meant that we had to buy food for breakfast, because the promised breakfast was not included. There was food when we came, which lasted about 3 days, but after that, that was it; I wrote to the owner and the owner responded that he couldn’t bring more food, because he lived far. So when you compare prices, do not take ‘Breakfast Included’ into account, if you stay longer than 3 days or so. So what you get is an ideal place, a cosy suite, and a complete privacy for a reasonable price, but without any service, if that’s important for you. We spent some time in Monemvasia almost every day, and it became more interesting each time we got there, but I would not choose it for vacation rental. In Guesthouse Kamara, we were surrounded by greenery, olive groves, while in Monemvasia, there’s mostly stones, ruins, and tourists. It’s very interesting and beautiful in Monamvasia, but not really relaxing, I’d say. Also, I wanted to mention, we made many furry friends there. Nice little cats and kittens in need of food. They ate ANYTHING we gave them, including BREAD. I mean each and every one of them. They were nice and gentle, but appeared pretty hungry, and we couldn’t stop ourselves from buying sausages and cheap fish for them. And we had to give out sausages piece by piece to make sure everyone gets some. So yes, I do recommend this place for a complete relaxation… And don’t forget to treat the cats!

Our hostess was so warm and personable. She offered us a wine tasting and gifted us with small samples of her mead and jelly. Very kind!

Beautiful apartment at a very good location. Very nice hosts. 100% recommendation!

Truly a delightful and hospitable stay! I had everything I needed, plus unreal views as a cherry on top. Elafonissos is a small island, so a drive to the beaches from the property never took more than 10ish minutes despite being located on a hilltop.

A Perfect Island Escape We stayed for 2 nights and stay at Voula Resort was exceptional. The owner greeted us upon arrival with a warm welcome, offering plenty of helpful information about Elafonisos and the surrounding area. The resort is serene, clean, comfortable, and quiet—an ideal place to relax. The grounds are beautifully kept, full of flowers and friendly cats that add to the charm. The location is perfect for exploring the island, with easy access to the famous Simos Beach. The rooms are spacious enough and very well-equipped, ensuring a comfortable stay. Voula Resort offers a peaceful retreat with top-notch hospitality, making it a perfect choice for a memorable stay on this nice island. We absolutely loved it and will definitely return! Highly recommended.

Our host, Katerina, was superb and incredibly helpful - happy to give recommendations for the beaches and places to eat, even getting out some of her snorkelling gear, deck chairs and beach mats that we were welcome to use. We had the quadruple room and even though it looked good in the photos it was much nicer than we anticipated. Plus, with 2 single beds, a double bed and a table and chairs the room didn't feel too cramped. The added bonus - Katerina had put the aircon on before we arrived making it a wonderfully cool space after a hot car journey. The kitchen space and bathroom are compact but this was not a problem for us. There was easy parking on the road outside and only a 5 minute walk down to the harbour.

Everything perfect . I will visit them again very soon. PET FRIENDLY .
