We stayed here for 2 weeks and we had an amazing time. We extended the first time because we were surprised by how much peace this place brings. We extended the second, third and fourth time because Laura and Diego made us feel like we were at home. They are very helpful, caring and warm people. Diego is a chill and very good surf teacher and Laura is a genuine and straightforward person. And just wait til you get to see the view from the terrace area...

We loved the location, the cosiness of the accommodation, our host Felipe was so friendly and helpful and we had parking for our motorbike included. We also loved how clean the hostel was and we felt very safe here too.

The lady at reception was very friendly, kind and helpful. We received lots of helpful information ahead of time on WhatsApp and clear instructions for check-in etc. The breakfast was nice and they accommodated our vegetarian diet. They even gave us some hot water in a flask for any tea/coffee overnight. The staff really went the extra mile.

The location is excellent, firstly because it's less than 200 meters from the central square, Plaza de Armas, a central tourist and historic area with restaurants, markets, and bars nearby. It's also very close to the National University of Trujillo (approximately 350 meters), and you can walk to UNT. There's also a gym nearby. The hotel is quiet and peaceful, and the Wi-Fi works well; I was able to make video calls, and it worked very well. There's a television with cable channels available. The shower has very hot water, which is important on colder days. There's always a staff member on site to open the entrance gate, so I felt very safe.

The room was super spacious and the beds were comfortable. The shower was good. There was a little table, which was convenient. The tv worked well with a few movie channels, incl some in English. The staff was friendly enough, but not very proactive in their service.

The property was extremely clean and I felt right at home from the beginning. It had all the amenities you could ask for, and was in a very safe and secure area. The hosts were so kind, I can’t thank them enough for their hospitality. I came to this hotel looking for a few days of rest, and they went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed to recover well. I will definitely be back here again, and highly recommend this hotel to everyone!

It's a perfect place for a longer stay. Room has shelvings, writing desk, is spacious. There is more than one chilling space in the hostel, laundry service, well equipped kitchen, terrace. The rooms are well soundproofed, so guests do not disturb each other. The manager is almost always available and gets all things done . It is a nice place to relax and spend some time in Huanchaco
