Ciao Amore is a hidden gem. We are a family of 5 and stayed there for 6 days over Christmas 2024. Constantin and Andy are superb hosts. Very friendly, relaxed and welcoming. Always chatting to the guests and making sure we had everything we needed. They were very flexible on evening meals for us but the standard menu choices are good also. Hotel is spotlessly clean and even though the bathrooms are shared they too are immaculate a look like they've only recently been refitted. Buffet breakfast is a real treat. Bus stop is literally right outside with buses running to all the main ski lifts more or less every 30 mins. Great experience overall and would highly recommend.

We had a very warm welcome when we arrived and had a very lovely apartment with everything we could need. The breakfast was good and plentiful and would have had something for every taste. Staff were friendly and the rooms were cleaned spotlessly by the time we returned from Breakfast each day. Location wise the hotel is right next to the main walking areas in Obergurgl so access was very easy.

We used the Gasthof Schontal as a base for travelling to and from Kitzbuhel for a days skiing and the Hahnenkahm races. A half hour drive takes you to Kirchberg in Tyrol where there is free parking and a free shuttle train which takes you into Kitzbuhel itself. Perfect

È difficile esprimere il senso di piena soddisfazione provato nel soggiornare in questo hotel. Il valore storico della struttura come luogo di accoglienza e servizio turistico è interpretato dal personale con estrema efficienza. Un luogo che trasmette “calore” attraverso la gentilezza e professionalità delle persone. Si trova in un paese non particolarmente attraente ma situato in un contesto paesaggistico da favola. Quindi se si va da quelle parti occorre vivere l’esperienza al Rainer. Anche il cibo é sapientemente cucinato!

La struttura si è dimostrata super disponibile anche per la mia intolleranza al lattosio (prodotti senza per la colazione).
