The room was spacious and comfortable and well equipped, and breakfasts were absolutely delicious. Perfectly situated in the town for walking around, going to shops, cafés, markets, etc. A wonderful place to stay. We had zero issues or complaints - it was perfect!

Located 100 metres from the main street and a 10-minute walk from Mataveri airport, Hostal Vaihere offers free WiFi and 24-hour front desk assistance in Hanga Roa. A garden is featured on site. The manager was such a nice, friendly guy who made you feel very welcome and gave you lots of useful information before and when you arrive. The room was comfortable, we could check in as soon as we arrived, we walked to and from the airport plus you can walk to town so location is good. Kitchen is very small but it was still decent. Fan was good in the room.

The hostess and employee were so very kind and helpful. We were welcomed at the airport and hostel in style. We received a lot of useful information about the Island and its people. The breakfast was extensive and tasteful and the best we received compared to other regions in Chile. When we had to leave early the hostess made us a breakfast we could take with us. The location was a 20-30 minute walk from the city centre and situated near a single Moai. It was beautiful and for us ideal. It could have been a bit cleaner for my taste (I’m quite a nag with hygiene), but everything else was so great, that it didn’t detract from our stay. We had such a nice time and will definitely stay here again if we return to the Island.

It’s a bit far from town, this is the only negative thing but this house is way cheaper than others so even I take a taxi to go to the town, is’s still reasonable. The best thing is hosts, I’ve never experienced such a high level of kinndness from hosts.

Everything was great! Very comfortable and calm, close to the Main Street and the beach. Pamela and Carlos are lovely and very helpful, they made sure we were comfortable and having a good time. We really felt the Rapa Nui welcoming culture with them.

Maine took great care of us from the very first moment when we arrived. For some reason we did not know that to sightsee around the park a guide is required, and we arrived without having anyone booked. Maine told us to jump to a car with her and she drove us to the park office, where we’ve got everything figured out. She ended up being our guide and she made sure that we saw everything that is needed to be seen around her beautiful island. We’ve been impressed with Maine’s warmth and ability to create a family- like atmosphere. The property was basic but comfortable. Good hot water for shower. Very close to the airport and felt very safe. Common area was always open and people very welcoming.
