El Sendero is a very comfortable and welcoming place. We stayed there for two nights and loved it. Rosa greeted us when we arrived, and then Juan joined us later. We had a great chat with both of them. They were so kind and took amazing care of us. One thing we really liked was being able to cook our own breakfast. They provide plenty of food for it, which made it super convenient. The place has a cozy, home-like feeling. Juan has traveled all over the world and makes you feel at home right away. He also has a great sense of humor! For Christmas, he gave us a bottle of champagne as a gift-how sweet is that? The rooms were clean and had everything we needed, including shampoo, shower gel, and soap. Another great thing is that you can leave any items you don’t need for your trip to Patagonia (we were away for 5 days at W trek) at El Sendero. This was really helpful for us! We highly recommend staying at El Sendero. It’s a warm, friendly place that gives you great vibes and wonderful memories!

She prepared a to-go breakfast for us when we went to see the penguins along with preparing a delicious hot breakfast for us on the other days of our trip. The beds were comfy and overall the hostal was very clean. The location is good and close to the center of town. Overall, loved this place and would definitely stay here again.

Felt more like visiting a friend’s place than a hostel. Pedro, Daniel, and Gustavo were super welcoming, and treated me more like a family than a guest. They were very helpful with giving me tips and ideas on what to do in the area especially during the off season. The facility is also clean and cozy. The kitchen has great amenities for cooking while also having a great view from the window! Would highly recommend staying here!

Bardzo pomocne, umożliwiły nam zameldowanie po godzinach a następnego dnia po wymeldowaniu mogliśmy korzystać z z części wspólnych. Ponadto były miłe, życzliwe i bardzo pomocne. Bardzo dobry kontakt przez WhatsApp i Booking. Pokój był przestronny wraz z dużą, przestronną łazienką. Bardzo wygodne łóżka, w pokoju ciepło. Smaczne choć proste śniadanie. Za nocleg płaciliśmy w dolarach i poprosiliśmy o wydanie reszty w pesos - dostaliśmy świetny kurs. Jeśli będziemy jeszcze kiedyś w Punta Arenas na pewno wybierzemy ten nocleg.

Fabian is a great host, friendly and helpful. He thinks nothing of giving you a lift to the bus early in the morning and he has a steady supply of pastries, tea bags etc. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The bathroom has a good supply of toiletries and lots of hot water.

Hostal Fernando de Magalhaes offers accommodation in the district of Cerro de la Cruz in Punta Arenas. All rooms are fitted with a flat-screen TV with cable channels. Arturo and his family were great hosts. Breakfast was great and he even gave us a snack when we had to leave too early for breakfast. Recommendations for places to eat in Punta Arenas were perfect. Loved the location and the view.

It’s so new , the designs are great and everything looks so clean and elegant! Close to Main Street shopping area. Super market, lots of restaurants, Cafe. Beds are comfortable, bathroom has good hot water pressure. The Host call taxi service for us many times. Also let us use the lobby areas while we are waiting for our flights . We couldn’t appreciate more ! Will certainly recommend it to anyone!
