It was such a perfect one night stay and the most comfortable sleep we had in more than 10 days in the Amazon. The breakfast was great and the hosts were so friendly and helpful! We hope to return!

Staff was super friendly, rooms were simple but clean, there are plenty of common spaces to chill out, location was perfect. Of course, you have to understand that this place is in the middle of Amazonias. This means that you can meet all kinds of bugs, reptiles or even monkeys in the trees but that’s what makes your stay here unique.

The owners were beyond accommodating for us following a late arrival due to delayed transport and then helped us with getting passports stamped and getting to the airport. The hostel itself was a great location with perfect, clean facilities and amazing staff.

Το La Ceiba, Amazonas που διαθέτει κήπο, βεράντα και εστιατόριο, βρίσκεται σε Leticia. Στο La Ceiba, Amazonas κάθε δωμάτιο παρέχει μπαλκόνι. Spent 4 nights here and had a brilliant time. Mocagua is a little paradise on the Amazon river and La Ceiba is a perfect base to soak it in and explore the area. Maria arranged a guide for us (he met us in Leticia - it’s quite awkward to get to boat terminal etc so having someone local made it a lot easier, his name was Romain and was brilliant). Loads of activities to do and the food was simple but delicious- if you are hungry between meals can go and grab a fresh sweet mango that has fallen off a tree! Rooms are basic (no air con and limited electricity) but this adds to the authenticity of the experience. I’d definitely recommend La Ceiba to experience La Amazonas.

Το Hotel Tatüane mundo Amazónico βρίσκεται σε Puerto Nariño και προσφέρει κήπο. Our stay here with Leo and his wife, Elizabeth, exceeded our expectations. The rooms are comfortable and the hammocks are a great way to unwind after a long day. Leo took us on amazing adventures and when conflicts with scheduling happened, he saw to it that we were well taken care of. He speaks some English and we speak some Spanish, but it was only a small obstacle and it didn’t take away from the tours. Leo is incredibly patient and knowledgeable about the area and Elizabeth is an amazing cook. It felt like they had included us as family during our stay. Thank you for taking such great care of us during our adventure. We would recommend this stay to anyone.

It's a very quiet place, great to sleep, to rest and to medidate. It's surrounded by the forest. The food is delicious and tipical of the Amazon.

Not only are the owners and their entire family extremely kind and helpful, the food is also amazing and they are the only place in Macedonia (the village) with uninterrupted electricity and high speed internet thanks to solar panels and Starlink (satellite internet). I got quite a bit of work done during my stay and was also able to relax. The hostel is located at the edge of the village (about 5 min walking from where you arrive by boat), which means that it's very quiet and peaceful.
