I especially appreciated all the eco-friendly touches he added to the main building. He is very consciencious and knows Costa Rica inside out. And If you don't usually like bunk beds, give this a try: the high wooden roof make the rooms feel very spacious, and the upper bunk is next to the windows screen and the jungle outside, with a net, privacy curtain, reading light and fan. Top confort. The general vibes of the hostel were chill, and guests were all happy to extend their stay. As a plus, the best grocery store in the region is just down the road.

Highly recommend it. Sylvio is a great host, and very attentive. The pool was ideal with our kids 5+9 years. Good to know that the restaurant is temporarily closed but will open again in a couple of months. This was no issue for us, as we enjoyed the communal kitchen very much!

Immaculate! I enjoyed a comfortable sleep and was treated so kindly by the owners, that I will not forget them. I definitely recommend Cabinas Hukats Secret Jungle. What a local gem!!!

This property is gorgeous and the staff is excellent and accommodating. The bungalow was well supplied, and just a perfect place to enjoy nature and to chill out. We kayaked to the ocean and watched sloths in the trees. I would highly recommend this property.

Struttura bellissima e tenuta molto bene. Camere confortevoli e ampie. La struttura si trova a 100 metri dall'entrata del parco naturale di Cahuita e a poche decine di metri dalla strada principale dove ci sono tutti i ristoranti. La struttura ha una piscina tenuta benissimo. Non è tanto grande ma il giusto per rinfrescarsi un po'. I gestori sono molto accoglienti e forniscono indicazioni molto utili su Cahuita e dintorni. Consigliatissimo!
