The place was absolutely lovely, and the host was so kind and caring! Breakfast every morning was delicious, and Alberto assisted us with great recommendations and things to do/see.

Το Playa Negra Guesthouse βρίσκεται στην Cahuita, ακριβώς μπροστά στην παραλία. Όλες οι μονάδες διαθέτουν καθιστικό. Ορισμένες έχουν βεράντα ή/και μπαλκόνι με θέα στην πισίνα ή τον κήπο. Very nicely and comfortably designed. We had everything we needed. A quiet, restful stay right across from a lovely beach. We even cooked dinner some evenings by the pool area. The owners are delightful and very accomodating. We couldn't have had a nicer time.

Elisa and her mother were wonderful hosts! Extremely friendly, have great local recommendations and made me feel welcome as part of the family straight away. The house is very peaceful and a great place to relax, with easy access to Playa Negra, several local bars and a short walk to the centre of Cahuita and Cahuita National Park. You can see numerous animals in the surroundings (I saw a little Capybara 🥹). Casa Aldirica is a fantastic place to stay and I would whole-heartedly recommend it! Pura Vida 😊

It was a pleasure to stay at Brigitte's Ranch. The people working there love to show you the sloths and colourfull frogs at te terrain. You can walk to the Reggae bar in a minute to grab a beer and there are hammocks at the accomodation. We also did the Night Tour by Brigitte's, which we really reccommend! You will see plenty of frogs, snakes, beautifull insects and mammals.

Το Marfi Inn προσφέρει ιταλικό εστιατόριο, κήπο και δωρεάν Wi-Fi σε όλους τους χώρους. Απέχει 200μ. από την Playa Blanca και τις παραλίες Playa Negra. Joseph the owner has been great!! We were travelling with our family, the apartment was confortable, clean and nice , we also had kitchen which was very helpful with kids and fridge. In the apartment we found Europe plug to change our Phone etc.. The breakfast was absolutely delicious!! Fresh fruits every day(local fruit) Eggs, hambre Coffee.. Also they have a few table games for kids. She also helped out with our Phone.. we had problem with our sim card and she was so kind to sort out the problem:)) Near by the public transportation, we arrive from San Jose with Mepe bus and took another bus to Puerto Viejo. Near by supermarket, and 5 minutes to the National Park of Cahuita, and 10 minutes from playa negra. We strongly reccomend this place!! Safe, clean, confortable. Grazie for everything;)
