Cooking facilities were great they’ll also cook you food if you request breakfast/dinner. Beds were very comfortable. Loved the doggy. Highly recommend. Thanks so much for having me has been one of my favourite hostels so far.

We are still blown away by this hostal. It was so nice to arrive and see this amazing view, and chill in the hammock while having tea and reading. Nice and big chilling area downstairs. The rooms are big, the breakfast was outstanding. When they serve the dinner, everyone comes to the table and talks about the hike and their journey. Everything was perfect. Just book it!

Only 800 metres from Quito’s Cathedral, Colonial House Quito offers rooms with free Wi-Fi in a 200 years old colonial-style house. Common kitchen facilities are available, and there is a garden. The staff is simply amazing - they welcome you as a member of their family. We were there for a total of a couple of weeks as the hostel was our starting point for a series of trips (Galapagos, Amazon, etc.) and by the end we really felt at home. They were always super kind in keeping our big backpacks while out The possibility of having drinkable water as well as free coffee and tea is a big plus. The kitchens while not being big have all the necessary utensils and stuff to make meals The hostel is a bit vintage-looking, with an old-fashioned style (colonial) and great decorations (tapestries, clothes, murales, etc.). The garden is super cute and well-maintaned, and the common areas are full of games, books, as well as a printer at your disposal
