The staff at this hotel is truly exceptional. Every member of the team goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is nothing short of perfect. Whether it was the front desk staff offering great tips on local attractions or the housekeeping team ensuring my room was always pristine, their attention to detail and genuine care made all the difference. They were always available when needed and took the time to make sure I was comfortable, no matter the request. The hotel itself is spotless and very well-maintained. The rooms are spacious, modern, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. I especially appreciated the convenience of its location – it’s just a short distance from major attractions like Habu Temple, Valley of the kings and Queens, making it the perfect base for exploring the city. And let’s talk about breakfast – it was absolutely delicious! Every morning, I was treated to a wide variety of fresh, flavorful options. From traditional Egyptian dishes to international favorites, the spread was always well-prepared, and I could tell that everything was made with care. It was the perfect way to start my day before heading out to explore Luxor. Overall, this hotel truly exceeded my expectations. The staff’s dedication to providing a memorable and comfortable experience made all the difference. If you’re visiting Luxor, I highly recommend staying here. You won’t be disappointed!

Sofia Guest House mempunyai kolam renang luaran, taman, teres dan bar di Luxor. Very quiet, clean, good value, there is also a kitchen if you need to cook your own food, I had my flight in the afternoon and the owner let me stay until 17.00 without charging me for more. The boy that helps is very kind and not for the tips. My room had a beautiful Nile view. I was ill and the owner prepared special tea with herbs for me.

The location on the west bank is really perfect: 15 min walk to the ferry (only 10EGP) and you are in Luxor centre, while the Valley of the Kings and other west bank attractions are a short drive away.

His staff, all family and/or friends are as kind and welcoming. The breakfast is fresh, tasty and plentiful. The garden area is a peaceful Oasis. The neighborhood is very quiet and just a short walk will take you to a grocery store, a fruit stall and some restaurants. In summary, you get this cozy feeling of living like a local . I had the opportunity to meet other guests that were repeat visitors and would not stay anywhere else. He owns another property in another equally attractive location that soon will be ready to be booked. I mention this because it shows the entrepreneur spirit mixed with an eximious quality of hospitality.
