I loved everything about this property. Peacefully tucked away in the hills of La Garde-Freinet, you’re immediately met with the smell of the fresh garden, and lovely sounds of happy birds. The room was clean and fresh and you have temperature control inside of your suite. Big open bathrooms with great water pressure in the showers. The pool is so beautiful and taken good care of. Lovely communal sitting area to enjoy breakfast or just to enjoy the day. They made us a quaint, delicious breakfast every morning that brought a smile to my face every time. The fresh lemons from the trees on the property in your water is a must!! We met a lovely couple who were also staying at Pontillaou, that told us stories about where they’re from and gave some good bits of travel advice. We fell in love with our sweet hosts who were so attentive and kind and very respectful in every way you could imagine. We had great chats with them and I genuinely cannot wait to cross paths with them again. So much love for this beautiful place and people!!
