This is a great little spot. My room was comfortable and charming and overlooked the lovely homes across the street. I had dinner breakfast and lunch and all three were great. The village is tiny and quiet and has some charming buildings. I learned from visiting the church nearby that the New Inn has historical Significance as a center of social and civic life.

This is our second time staying, and we loved the cozy pub and exceptional meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We appreciated the real fires that were lit throughout the pub and the dog-friendly atmosphere. It was a quiet place to stay with great views of the Golden Valley. I liked the local Corinium ale they had on tap.

Vicina alla fermata degli autobus. Il pub è stato come un viaggio nel tempo e la cucina mi ha sorpreso per le proposte e per la qualità degli ingredienti. La camera era enorme e ben arredata, con letto King size ed una vasca da bagno spettacolare. Particolare che ho molto apprezzato è stato il pavimento in veri listoni di legno! (Non amo la moquette) Il proprietario è una persona simpatica , disponibile che sa metterti .tuo agio.

We had a lovely comfy couple of nights at Hillvine - the bed was so comfy and cosy; there were plentiful towels in two colours so we knew which was who's (genius), excellent telly options (we particularly liked the sea creatures calming video Kim had put on for us on our arrival!); marvellous continental breakfast selection including a fancy coffee machine (although we're not coffee drinkers - I can see that's a plus if you are!), microwave oven, toaster and mini-fridge and, best of all, we were greeted so warmly by Kim and Richard and made to feel so welcome, and like nothing was too much trouble. This is a great play to stay if you need to be in Hartpury or anywhere in the vicinity.
