We really enjoyed this typical stone structure with a warren of rooms up a staircase. We had a duplex room with a balcony where we were served our breakfast. It is just 20 meters down the beach to a fantastic restaurant. In the morning the owner took us for a ride around the bay on his boat which was a real treat. The warm welcome by the owner and his lively young family were a big plus. We would absolutely stay here again.

The hosts were wonderful. They served us a beautiful breakfast every morning. There is a famous bakery just opposite the hotel where you can buy the best bread in Greece:) The hotel is charming, with a beautiful yard. Centrally located. Petrounis recommended us a nice taverna at the other end of the main street where we spent every evening. There is a public car park very near the hotel which was very convenient, too. A very good place to visit Mani, explore the coast and swim with the turtles;)

The room is exactly like the pictures. The balcony had an amazing view to the sea and the sunset. The apartment we booked was very spacious with two air-conditioners and two TVs, a kitchen and 2 balconies. The owner was a lovely lady who gave us great suggestions for the area and had nice conversation. Would definitely recommend.

Psamathous Guesthouse is a great Mani classical stone building with very artistic decor. Zamila, the host, was so friendly and nice, taking care of all details. Associated Porto Taverna is very good with nice, friendly staff (dinner and our included breakfast there). Porto Kagio is in an incredibly beautiful coastal cove. 10 minute walk to the small Greek Church - really spectacular, pristine coastal scenery (especially magical in spring, like when we were there!) Situated on the highest point of the seaside Kokkala village, 500 metres from the beach, the stone-built Castle Rizaraki follows the traditional architecture of the Mani area. Very nice and cosy room with beautiful large balcony overlooking the town and the sea. I sat on my balcony reading the whole evening! Breakfast area was also beautiful overlooking the sea. Do keep in mind that there is not much around (at least not in pre-season), so you might need to drive for dinner.
