I had a truly pleasant 5-day stay at Rumah Baris Ubud. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, kind, and always ready to help with anything I needed. Their warm hospitality really made a difference. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The bed was cozy, and I especially loved the added touch of having a sofa and chairs out on the patio—it was the perfect spot to unwind after a full day of exploring. One of the best surprises was the daily activities they offered for guests. These were free, fun, and a great way to experience a bit more of the local culture or meet other travelers. Location-wise, it's perfect. Just a short walking distance from Ubud Market and many of the main attractions. There are also plenty of restaurants, cafes, and convenience stores nearby, making everything super convenient. Overall, I had a fantastic time and would definitely book this place again on my next visit to Ubud. Highly recommend!

Kadek and his wife are extraordinary hosts; attentive, hospitable, generous. The bungalow, grounds, and pool are kept very well, particularly the pool which is a glorious shade of blue/green. The location is further out, away from the relative chaos of Ubud. There is an active temple just at the end of the street, which provides one with the feeling of living amongst true Balinese culture.

Kaki Uma Villa is a beautiful, new set of villas right next to a rice field. There was a ticking noise from a wind clapper in the field, which added a peaceful, natural feel to the space. The pool was clean and fun to swim in, even in the sudden pouring rain. The bathroom and bedroom were both very large, and the bed was comfortable. The staff were great and respectful of privacy. They would WhatsApp before coming in if needed, which we appreciated. The koi fish at the front were cute. Cleaning was prompt and discrete, and four water bottles were provided daily, which was a nice touch. Breakfast had three choices—American, continental, and Indonesian. All were tasty and came with a smoothie or fresh fruit, plus coffee or tea. It was delivered at your requested time in the morning. They also have a very convenient and cheap laundry service. There are several good restaurants in the area that can be walked to—we’d suggest bringing a flashlight if you’re out after dark. We would definitely come back!!

The owners were absolutely lovely and went out of their way to make sure I’m comfortable. The room is spacious with a very comfortable bed, the location is in a more quiet area but still close to the main street. The garden is lovely as well. I felt really safe and comfortable, and would book again 100%.

Would highly recommend!

The accommodation was excellent—clean, comfortable, and equipped with a well-stocked kitchen and fridge, perfect for preparing meals. Tulus was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay, making everything smooth and enjoyable. The rented motorcycle was also in great condition and added a lot of convenience to our trip. The location is about 15-20 minutes from Ubud Centre, but getting around with Grab or your own scooter is super easy. Would definitely stay here again!

A really peacefull place, near to center of Ubud, but a quiet place. It is placed also very close to the rice fields. The hosts are very kind and eager to help you with anything you need. They make you feel at home. The room were very spacious and clean with air conditioning, rustic furniture and balinese decorations. Also, had a spacious terrace where you can admire the nature, the sound of it and where you can read a book or taking a nap. The room cleaning was daily and the breakfast is prepared by hosts with fresh fruits or juice, eggs, noodle soup, toast, pancake.
