This family run guest house is located in fashionable Rathgar, less than 3 km from St Stephen’s Green in the city centre. Property was excellent to stay. Staff were really friendly.

Set in Rathgar, 1.9 km from Rathfarnham Castle, No 9 Rathgar offers accommodation with a shared lounge and free private parking. All rooms have a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. No frills walk up guest house, perfectly suited for travel to and through Dublin. Located on a busy street, but set back. Did not hear traffic with windows closed. Very clean and comfortable room, bed and en-suite bath. Window let in lots of light. Tea and coffee accoutrements, mini fridge. Self check-in codes sent via text. Good value. 30 mins to Dublin airport, 20 mins to the coast. Grocery store, restaurant and pub about 3 blocks away.
