She was genuinely interested in getting to know us and also told us lot of things about Goa, which made our stay even more special. Her hospitality made it feel like a home away from home. We loved our stay at Marbella Guest House. The place is beautiful, even better than in the pictures. The staff was always available to help, and very friendly. The included breakfast options were great and good portions. Our last day they prepared a breakfast to go because we had an early flight, this was greatly appreciated. The service and a la carte food at the restaurant was amazing too. They serve Indian and Goan, but there were some continental options. The thing we loved most, were the friendly dogs that roam around and the charity they work with. The Guest Gouse is just outside of Candolim, which makes it a very pleasant and quiet place to stay. You're still about 5 minutes by car or scooter from all the restaurants and shops in Candolim, so you get the best of both worlds. In short: this place is amazing. Do yourself a favor and book it!

We arrived at dawn - much earlier than I had expected and Pauls staff could not be more helpful. They even gave us a choice of rooms which was unexpected. Such a wonderful place to stay in nature with such a relaxed lifestyle. On leaving Paul and his staff came out to say goodbye with hugs all round - had a lump in my throat as we pulled away. Book now - you won't be disappointed!

Situated in Palolem, 80 metres from Palolem beach, Hilias Retreat boasts air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. The property has also been recently renovated. We had an amazing experience at Hilias Retreat - room with a balcony, very clean room overall, especially towels and linen, also small cleaning in the middle of our stay was included. Location is good, a lot of shops, cafes, restaurants with good food. Small fridge in a room - big plus.
