I can't say anything about the Gesthouse because one day before our arrival we were moved and upgraded for free to the other place which belongs to the same owners (Volcano House). And the Volcano House was just amazing, perfect, fantastic! Huge house (4 separate bedrooms, huge living room with the kitchen, private garden, private terrace, 2 bathrooms etc.), equipped with everything what's needed, very good wifi, private parking, in the center of Grindavik. It was really great and we didn't expected that! All that time communication with the owners was even more than perfect! Totally recommend that place!

A very nice and cosy place, it's not very big but it's comfortable and the floor heating was keeping it nicely warm. We didn't meet with the hosts but the communication was fast and the check-in & check-out process was smooth. There was everything we needed for a comfortable stay, the address was easy to find, close to the airport and some nice tourist spots. We've chosen this location, as there was a higher possibility to observe the Northern Lights, even if the activity is low and surely enough, we managed to see them through the window. The Gardur Lighthouse is also within walking distance, which is also a good spot for Aurora, so it was quite convenient. Also, the beds were really soft and comfortable and we had a goodnight sleep.

The family-run Guesthouse 1x6 is in the old part of Keflavík, a 7-minute drive from Keflavik International Airport and a 20-minute drive from the Blue Lagoon geothermal spa. Andi and Yuki are fantastic hosts, they make you feel at home since the first moment you walk in their gueshouse. Top living room for reading and relaxing and beautiful outdoor hot jacuzzi to watch the stars. Totally recommended!

The rooms were exceptionally clean and furnished with great attention to detail. When I broke the lock of the main door and locked myself out of my room the next morning, Hanna Maria and her husband were quick to help. They were kind and very generous hosts. Big recommendation!

Set 5 km from Blue Lagoon, Guesthouse Grund provides accommodation and free WiFi in Grindavík. Some units also have a kitchen equipped with an oven and a microwave. Very clean, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds. Good communication with the host.

Small laptop to look things up. Owner and wife made sure we were all set as they went on a vacation that evening. Was quiet. Had hot tub out back but too tired to use.seperate kitchen to do breakfast on your own.

This guest house is 20 minutes’ drive from the Blue Lagoon geothermal spa and 10 km from Keflavik International Airport. It offers breakfast from 06:00, plus free Wi-Fi and private parking. Amazing! Breakfast was really good! I recommend for a budget stay it was outstanding

Environment is quiet and nice. Closes to supermarket and beach. Close to airport only 5 minutes drive. It is important I want to say that property owner is super kind. When we encountered difficulties time, the owner comforted us and helped us solve the problem, which made us deeply moved. Without a doubt, I will highly recommend this place to my friends and tourists who want to stay in this city.
