This was a great place to stay in the westfjords! The common room has everything you need in order to prepare your dinner/breakfast. The place itself was clean and comfortable. The location is beautiful and its not too far away(within walking distance) from a hotspring which is great to relax after a day of exploring!

It was warm and had a kitchen that was perfectly adequate to cook a meal. The bathroom was modern with a generously sized shower. There were two bathrobes as well as towels. It was quiet and with parking right outside. The house is up the hill from the harbour and it was a bit cold (snow everywhere) to walk to the hot pools on the shore so we took the car, but I would estimate a 10 min walk in summer.

The guesthouse is in a pleasant harbour side location. It has been tastefully furnished and is a good blend of contemporary and traditional. There are nice areas for relaxing, fresh coffee on tap and a small kitchen area if you want to 'do it yourself'. There is however a nice, reasonably priced restaurant next door. Toilets and showers are modern and clean with a good selection of toiletries. Our room had a lovely view over the harbour. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice including home made cakes which were different on the two days we stayed.

The shared kitchen and lunge room was well equipped for everything we needed. The unit we lived in was very clean.

The self check in was easy, the house on the main street of Holmavik. We had reserved a room with shared bathroom but we were the only guests on the main floor so it was as it was private. The room was spacious with really comfy double bed. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed. No flaws to be found.
