The place used to be an elementary school. It feels surreal to be staying here. The vibe feels like anime. Every corner is clean and has everything you need. You can also cook in their kitchen.

熱海温泉 実の別荘 se găsește în Atami, la aproximativ 19 minute de mers pe jos de Atami Sun Beach și la 27 km de Gara Hakone-Yumoto. At first I was surprised by the good ratings, but it was indeed well deserved! The staff was very friendly and the guesthouse is very spacious, with a great view to the mountain and the sea. We were very well received and everything was clean and tidy! Top experience

Effective October 1, 2025, a lodging tax will be introduced by ordinance of Takayama City. In addition to the room charge, 100 yen per person per day will be charged. Everything was great! Close to the train/bus station, great kitchen and living room area, has an elevator, clean spaces, and lots of tips about Takayama and day trips in the front desk area. Dorms are big and overall pretty comfortable

My daughter and I stayed here for 3 nights in February. Ken san and Yuki san were delightful. The property was very clean and comfortable. They renovated the inn themselves and you can see care and attention in every detail from materials used to decor. The food was delicious and much of it was grown (rice) or made (plum wine) by Ken or Yuki. They provided great recommendations for restaurants and side trips. They ensured we were prepared with all the details required to ensure we had successful adventures. We are so lucky to have we picked the Sakonomichi. It was sugoi!!!

The host of the homestay was very friendly and introduced everything to us, as well as guiding us on how to get to the ski resort. The environment was very clean and tidy, and from the place we stayed, we could see beautiful snowy mountain scenery.

The staff were kind and friendly and knowledgeable - it was incredibly welcoming and comfortable to stay there. The dinosaur decorations everywhere were the cherry on top of the atmosphere!
