Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). Very welcoming staff and overall nice atmosphere in a beautiful house. The dorm room was spacious. Inclusion of curry for dinner and simple breakfast are a great plus for the price. The location is perfect, close to the floating Tori gate. I didn't use any of the onsen but it's nice they provide this facility.

The common space was very enjoyable, they also have a free drink bar that provides coffee and tee; and even tho not from the dorm room, the view in the morning was really nice.

Bed&Cafe Onzo オンゾー se găsește în Onomichi, la 24 km de Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine, și are WiFi gratuit și parcare privată gratuită. We booked two rooms for our family of four. We were pleasantly surprised how spacious they were, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The host was incredibly kind, he suggested the best places to eat and buy locally produced lemon pastries, and when we were leaving, he brought his cat, Tiger, and waved goodbye to us. As we were on a three-day bike trip and only had our small backpacks with us, we loved the fact that everything was provided: shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, tooth brushes, toothpaste, mouth wash, etc. In each room there were even a couple of bottles of water and everything for making tea and coffee. In the common spaces there was a microwave, guidebooks, manga books, and a wall full of Toso Maps of the Shimanami Kaido trail. We will definitely book Bed&Cafe Onzo again next time we bike the Shimanami Kaido!

Staying in a 100+ year old traditional Japanese home was an amazing experience, and the fact that we had the whole house to yourself made it even better. In addition, the host was so kind and helpful and really went out of his way to make our stay memorable. He gave us great recommendations for dinner and helped us make reservations. The room was very spacious, the beds were very comfortable, and every amenity you could possible need was provided.

ゲストハウス尾道ポポー Guesthouse Onomichi Pawpaw se află în Onomichi, la 12 minute de mers pe jos de Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine, și pune la dispoziție o grădină, o terasă și parcare privată. The host met me with ice tea. At 35 degrees it was quite pleasant 🙂

Guest house kusunoki（women only） se află în Fukuyama, la 8,4 km de Shinsho-ji Temple, și pune la dispoziție WiFi gratuit și parcare privată gratuită. Best guesthouse I have ever had the pleasure to stay at. Very clean, nice facilities in a recently renovated house with exposed beams and all wooden flooring. Comfortable bed, privacy ensured. Incredibly nice owner. I would stay there again.

It is so clean and beautiful, the photos to not do it justice. It’s very close to everything else in town. The owners are lovely people. Would genuinely recommend staying here.

Gamigami is located with a fantastic view across the inland sea with islands near and in the distance. It is a pity that cables are in this view as seen from the rooms but you can go up on the flat roof for an unobstructed view. It is not very far on a nearly flat road to the ferry to Onomichi so it makes a good last night if you are cycling from Imabari taking several days as we did. We had a comfort Japanese style room.
