The staff was lovely, we had dinner at the restaurant there- indian style, and it was delicious! The owner made everything to order and we had a great time. Atsu was so nice and welcoming! Relatively close to Matsumoto and Nagano, but great if you look for a peaceful and quiet location

The reception was excellent, and the room was very comfortable. The hostel is super clean and well-organized. The location is great, close to all conveniences like convenience stores, the subway, and restaurants, as well as tourist attractions. I recommend it.

Cafe&stay CASTANA se află în Matsumoto, la aproximativ 3,4 km de Gara Matsumoto și la 6,1 km de Muzeul Japonez Ukiyo-e. This was my first time visiting Japan, and I chose Matsumoto as my travel destination. I must say, choosing Cafe & Stay Castana as my accommodation in Matsumoto was the best decision I made. The room was very clean and tidy. The dining area is beautifully designed, and you can enjoy a coffee while taking in the lovely scenery outside! Most importantly, the host was incredibly nice and friendly. We had a flat tire while traveling around Matsumoto. When Kaneda-san heard about our issue, he kindly offered to drive me to the car rental shop and even helped translate the problem to the staff there. Thanks to Kaneda-san’s help, we were able to get a new rental car without any trouble! I will definitely book Cafe & Stay Castana again if I have the fortune to visit Matsumoto in the future!

The staff were eager to help with any request of ours, a short notice late checkout during the high season only came at a slight fee and they let us store ice cream in the freezer. The daily breakfast was delicious, with homegrown rice and their own family pickled Nozawana recipe. The rooms were a warm respite from the Nozawaonsen cold. Togoro is next to an onsen which we'd recommend using as much as possible. Togoro is next to one of the bus stops on the line from Iiyama station. We couldn't recommend Togoro more and wish the family which runs it all the best in their business.

Guest House Hostel yukuru se găsește în Iiyama, la 14 km de Parcul de schi Ryuoo, și are o grădină, un lounge comun și parcare privată gratuită. The property was in a nice location close enough to Iiyama Station. The hosts were some of the nicest people we have met and drove us to and from the station (6:30am!!). One of the comfiest places we have stayed and hope we can go back soon.

Boasting a garden, terrace, shared lounge and free WiFi, The Guest House Japan Hakuba is situated in Hakuba, 2.8 km from Hakuba Iwatake Ski Area and 16 km from Hakuba Cortina Ski Area. Possibly the best stay at a Guest House I have ever had...and I've been to a few! Incredible hospitality, we felt so treated. The team shuttle you around, make sure you're looked after and reserve the best restaurants in the area. The breakfast was really good, it was warm and cosy, and the baths were amazing after a long day skiing. Honestly can thank the guys enough for such a special and fantastic stay.

The breakfast was good and served in a very relaxed atmosphere. It was a nice mix of Japanese and Western styles. With a good selection. The staff were always on hand to help out.
