Takeo Onsen is such a charming town, and Yujiro (and his family) made my stay there even more fantastic. Yujiro, the owner, contacted me even before my stay with amazing recommendations such as restaurants and attractions in Takeo Onsen area. He even assisted in booking a table for me at an marvelous restaurant. Thank you for making my Takeo Onsen experience truly amazing, Yurijo. In addition, the location of the guesthouse in ideal as you can walk to many places such as the famous tree, the library and the onsen itself. Also, the room is spacious and the bed is comfy. I slept like a rock. Before I left, I had an insightful and fun conversation with Yurijo. Thank you again. Hope to see you and stay at the guesthouse again.

So cool to stay in an old, traditional house, which had everything we needed. Owner was super friendly and even had some free pottery we were welcome to take. (And he had great suggestions for where to eat nearby and even left us some instant ramen to eat, if we got hungry.) The futon heaters were great and definitely needed when a cold wind storm blew in!

Incredible guesthouse in a nice a traditional Japanese village, right by the train station also. Had the whole dorm to myself that night and was able to cook up a feast. Owner was so friendly and let me keep my bags after check out also.

This is the most beautiful place I have ever stayed in Japan by far, and this was my 5th trip to the country. We booked the traditional Japanese room and it exceeded our expectations tenfold. It was super spacious, comfortable and beautifully furnished. The host Hanneke was so lovely and helpful as well. I could have stayed for a month! Arita is a beautiful town well worth visiting if you have any interest in ceramics.

I wish we had stayed here longer! Very pleasant house, the room was nice, beds were clean and comfortable, and the shower was large. The kitchen was clean and well equipped, and we cooked dinner there. Ask the owner about the artwork inside the house! She also made several recommendations for places to go, landmarks and a cafe to visit. We went to some of these and are glad we did! She also assisted with a translation issue to help make a doctors appointment, and generally was just so welcoming. Other residents were very friendly and we enjoyed chatting.

Terletak di Arita, 18km dari Huis Ten Bosch, ILHA / ACCOMMODATION menyediakan penginapan dengan WiFi percuma dan tempat parking peribadi percuma. Cosy clean accommodation above a cute cafe/pottery shop - conveniently near to the station. It was better in real life than the photos! Super spacious too. Takashi-san was so friendly and warm - even sending us off with little gifts the next day. (PS: all the bakes at the cafe are homemade) We enjoyed our stay so much we didn't want to leave!

Saga International Guesthouse Hagakure terletak di Saga, 15km dari Taman Bersejarah Yoshinogari dan 49km dari Kuil Kanzeon-ji. The owner and staff are really nice and warm people! you can ask them anything and they will try to help you as much as they can. Also they can comfortably speak english so there’s no worries of language barrier if you’re overseas traveler
