Retro Kampot Guesthouse exceeded all our expectations. The staff is great, we were given fruits and treats at every meal, they daily brought mosquito repellents to our bungalows, cold water as much as we wanted, we also got fresh coconuts to drink. They own their own canoes and you can take them to the watter for free whenever you have the time. They also arranged all the site seeing that we wanted for us. Thank you for organizing a surprise birthday gift for my wife, if we ever come back we know where we will stay 🙂

We rented a scooter directly at the door steps for three days. This independent roaming was so much fun, we decided to stay longer at the Mabuhay Guesthouse. Ecologically the separation of waste material needs positive mentioning and the refilling of water bottles.

We loved our stay at Cambodhi Guest House. The rooms are super comfortable, bright and bigger than they look on the pictures. The food is amazing, the view from the roof-terrace is really nice, Patrick and Tola are lovely and very welcoming hosts and the atmosphere in the guesthose is very friendly, cozy and just nice. We really felt at home and would love to come back.

German restaurant was great for breakfast. About 1.5 km walk into the centre of town, but easy to get remorque or tuk-tuk via Passapp app for a very reasonable price. Host has very reasonable & good motorcycle scooters for hire too.

The family that owns it are warm and welcoming, and well organized. Very easy to communicate. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and surrounded by beautiful landscaping. Three meals a day are possible here, so being a little away from the city center is no problem. It is an easy tuk-tuk or motorbike ride into town, and Hidden Oasis has a motorbike available for rent.

Wished we had stayed longer than two nights as the region is beautiful and lots to explore as well in nearby Kep.

Large room, clean facilities, attentive host, and great wifi. Kampot is hot, so if the heat bothers you, splurge for AC, but we found it to be fine without it. Our room had a fridge and kitchen sink, and the host gave us some plates and cutlery to cut up fruit and veggies for a couple of our meals. Lovely location in a quiet part of town, but still a short walking distance from downtown and the food street. Several nice, affordable restaurants near this area. We frequented the Ahmad Indian restaurant and Magic Sponge. It's close to a grocery store as well. The host arranged our bus, rented us a scooter, and did our laundry. On the New Year, he gave all the guests free sodas and beer.

We don't plan to go to Kampot, but it happened when we felt bored at home after workdays. We decided to stay at Kampot Origin Guesthouse because it's not far from the center, has an affordable price, and is very clean, especially their beddings. The staff who attended to us were very accommodating. Hopefully, next week we will still be staying at this guesthouse.
