I booked this place because I wanted to be closer to the bay wetland reserve, not inside the city. That was a great choice! The owner is very friendly and welcoming, and answers questions very quickly (we used Whatsapp). The room was big, there is a kitchen part, a nice bathroom, a washing machine that works perfectly and she lets you borrow a drying rack if needed. Everything was clean and the bed super comfy (best one I've had during my whole trip!!). And if you open the window, you can hear birds singing... There is a bus station right next to the pension, just one line (66) but very convenient (max 30min from the train station for example). ETA are not always available and usually appear 10min before the bus comes, but you can check the past timetables on Naver Map which are relevant. There is an E-mart and a coffee place minutes away and a few restaurants (haven't tried any). It was rainy when I stayed there, but the room had a terrace with a barbecue you could use. If I manage to come back one day, I will definitely go there again 😊

Leehakjang guesthouse se encuentra en Mokpo y dispone de salón de uso común, terraza, bar y wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento. BOOK this place!! I was very impressed by it, the rooms are clean, the beds are comfy. The location is great, right by the ferry station and there’s a very nice and popular cafe around the corner. It’s also close enough to the cable cars, skywalk, and Yudal park if those are on your itinerary. Because it’s near the ocean there’s a chance of mosquitos but an electric lamp was provided in the rooms so we had absolutely zero problems. The bathroom is a little small but it’s alright for a few nights. Our room even had a fridge which I really liked and microwaves in the common area to use. Breakfast was a great bonus and a gave us a good start to our day but most of all, Mr. Kim is very kind and if you have any problems or questions he is more than happy to help!

Jinrae Lee's Traditional House se encuentra en Boseong, a 10 km de Boseong Bibong Dinosaur Park y a 17 km de Museo del Té de Corea. The house was in an amazingly good shape with their traditional architectural style intact! While the bathrooms were not attached to the bedrooms because the house could not be remodeled to change the existing structure (as it is designated as a Protected Traditional House), each bedroom had an assigned private bathroom with a good shower and fancy amenities. This probably is the closest you can get living like a Josun Dynasty aristocrat in the modern day Korea. The owner lady was very helpful in providing tips for restaurants and things to do and see and very attentive to our comfort. While it is conveniently located (if you have a rental car) to explore the whole South Western provinces of Korea (UNESCO World Heritage Site tidal flats!), I thought that just staying in the house perched on the wooden floor looking out beautiful trees and drying persimmons with a book in hand itself was a huge treat. I would definitely stay here again!

Boseong sujinhanog pensyeon se encuentra en Kalmol, a 2 km de Museo del Té de Corea, y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. Lovely host and delightful breakfast tea brought to your door!

The owner let us leave the luggage and do the check in later. She was super kind when we asked for recommendations. The room was perfect for one night and the bed the most comfortable one so far in Korea.

Sunset Hanok Stay está en Suncheon, a 5 min a pie de Playa Waon, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis y terraza. The host was very gracious and helpful. Had her Google Translate ready to communicate between English and Korean. Very nice accommodations for a "home stay", with the guest room(s) in a separate building.
