Even the blankets and sheets smelled wonderful. The host was incredibly kind, and anything you needed was available. We also arranged our visit to Horton Plains National Park with their own tuk-tuk, and they even packed a very neat breakfast for us to eat inside the park. The location is excellent, close to Lover's Leap Waterfall and the Pedro Tea Factory, about a half-hour walk at most, or you can even take a bus. Overall, everything was at its best. We'll definitely miss the landlord, who was a true gentleman, and his kind wife. We hope to see them again.

We spent two fantastic days with Dhammika and his beautiful family who made us feel so welcome. Nestled among the sprawling tea plantations on the edge of the reservoir, the villa was simple but very comfortable, with a lovely view of the rolling green hills. Throughout our stay, Dhammika was a massive help, even driving us to the foot of Adam’s Peak in his tuk tuk at 1:30am and then showing us the various waterfalls and tea factories. He was a fount of local knowledge, and the breakfasts and dinners prepared by his wife and mother-in-law were delicious! Thank you, Dhammika!

I stayed one night at RC Awkward in Nuwara Eliya. The property was clean, comfortable, and had a hot shower—perfect for the chilly nights. Rajith, the host, was kind, accommodating, and reliable. He offered a car lift to explore the tea plantations and prepared a delicious breakfast.

The hospitality and kindness of the family was really touching. The house is very clean and brand new , you get a large room and large bathroom and there is a living room with sofa and dining table. The place was just 5 minutes walk to the adams peak trail head. Near the house there are a few fancy and local restaurants with mostly foreign tourist. I had , dinner ,breakfast and lunch with the family and the food was so delicious and in a large portion. Also the bus from maskeliya stops very close to the house frequently throughout the day.There is also a bus to colombo at 5.30 am from there which the family even walked me to and i am so grateful to them. This is the perfect and calm place to spend a few days while you are climbing the adams peak
