We only had one night here. Beautiful location. dinner was a delicious classic Sri Lankan meal and breakfast was a great omelette cooked up by the wonderful Ashoka. The views are spectacular from the top of the hill. Also great view from the pool. Christo was also very welcoming and made our stay as comfortable as possible. He also took us on a bush walk around the property showing us all the different plants, herbs and fruits. If you’re lucky like we were you may spot a few wild elephants as well as the roam the hills around the property.

He is a safe driver who showed me many places per day in his comfortable car and she cooked fantastic meals for me with fresh herbs and spices out of their own ‘jungle’. They are a lovely and honest family, the best hosts during my world-travel :-) Also: the place is a gem in the mountains, beautiful decorated and with a clean pool. I felt really at home here.

The service was exceptional; the staff was attentive and made us feel welcome, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. This 1930s bungalow is sprawled across 98 acres of a tea plantation, at the foot of the Knuckles Mountain Range. Yes very much it is very nice location and calm people are very nice.
