Rooms are to a very very high standard - spacious room, plenty of space to store luggage, solid desk/chair, beautiful balcony with comfortable chairs and stunning sea & sunset views, large four poster bed with clean linen and comfortable, good AC. Overall the room is just high spec with high quality materials and furniture used. Bathroom too was to the same high standard - stone floor, large sink and mirror, good shower with hot water if desired. Cannot fault the room at all. Staff all super friendly and smiling all the time. Breakfast, Sri lankan or western, was very good too. I had sri lankan each day which was always delicious. Free purified water on tap in the communal area. You can walk into Mirissa around 15 mins along a busy ish road, or grab a tuk, there's plenty of them. Best stay I had in 3 weeks, and very reasonable price. I would definitely stay here again travelling solo or with a partner.

It was very clean and the beds were private - it felt that you have your own space. I went to different hostels in Hiriketiya, but this one is the best.

Surf Lodge Madiha mempunyai taman, kawasan pantai peribadi, teres dan restoran di Matara. The Surf Lodge is beautifully decorated with a lot of love and taste. It offers amazing breakfast and a direct access to the beach. It is managed by the super kind Che who was always very attentive to help us organize a few things around the area. What we particularly loved about the hotel (apart from the amazing spacious rooms and the delicious (vegetarian) food) was that it is Che’s family home and has such a friendly and calming vibe :) it’s only a short walk to local restaurants and bars and Madiha’s main beach is also only a few minutes away. Super nice hosts, quiet surroundings, you really get to experience nature and beach life. The rooms is clean and spacious. I had a very pleasant stay and would recommend this place if you are in Hiriketiya.

We loved our stay at Wilson’s Place! The grounds and rooms were very nice. Rumesh was super helpful with local tips and helping us book taxis. Within walking distance to Hiriketiya beach and Blue beach.

A stylish, comfortable and luxurious stay. This place is so special and you can see the love and care that went into this villa. Our room was spacious and looking out to the ocean. The beach is just a few steps away from the bedroom constertina doors that open completely. I loved the botique shop on the property with beautiful designer clothes. Lovely hosts and a really comfortable stay! There is also a beach nearby where you can swim with turtles!

Absolutely in love with the place that Wounderfull couple is managing! The whole team made out stay incredible and unforgettable, the varied so much about us almost every moment we stepped out of the room. Mr and Mrs Dias are always in the hotel, approachable if you need something. The hotel has a great security, it is not easy for strangers to come in. Also it is located on the Main Street it is very quiet and we slept well. The beach and some good restaurants are just couple minutes walk. The room was clean with everything you need, comfortable beds, hot shower with very good water pressure. Breakfast was very good with small compliments from the chef. We really enjoyed the place and would love to come back to this particular hotel next time we visit Sri Lanka.

The place is cool and quiet! It's surrounded by nature, I enjoyed watching birds, squirrels, monkeys and so on. The owner is very polite and considerate, always ready to help with all questions. The Internet works well, the room is clean. And you can rent a scooter in the same place.

Stayed at this family-run guesthouse/hotel for one month. Zero issues. The room (with balcony overlooking a backyard) was spacious, clean and quiet. King size bed was comfortable and protected by a mosquito net. Really neat! Ample sized bathroom with hot/cold water. The fridge is in the common area downstairs. Room cleaning on demand. There's also a restaurant on premises that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The owners and staff are super friendly and accomodating. Can arrange a reasonably priced taxi wherever you might need to go. Any other questions and concerns are eagerly answered and helped with pronto. Very laid-back atmosphere overall. Right outside of the hotel on the main road there are two fruit stands, a masage salon and a couple of good mom&pop grocery stores. Easy access (3-5 min) to the ocean and Coconut Tree Hill. Mirissa Beach is a 13 minute walk. Evening/night time the area is pretty quiet as all nightlife happens ~2 km down the main road. Definitely worth the money!
