We like the people, especially the manager Inbaraj, who is a great and kind man. He showed us the cinnamon plantations and explained how everything is used, he was so kind. We liked the dinner, the best chicken curry we tried so far in Sri Lanka, also there was a desert, we liked a lot. The room was clean, sanitized, everything was great, the view from our room was great. Mr. Inbaraj also treat us with the best papaya juice, coffee and the plantation harvests. We are so grateful and happy that we choose this place for our stay in Yala. The place is also near the Yala park, which was great as well.

My hosts couldn’t have made me feel any more welcome. They are kind and generous. As a single female traveller I felt very secure in their compound. I strongly advice you book your safari with your host. He’s a confident driver with a keen eye for leopards. Don’t think saving money will serve you well, take a private tour. The guest house is situated close to the park and near to the road the dissects the park. Take an evening safari on the road if you can. The accommodation is very clean. I found it hard to leave these lovely people.

The room was very comfortable, clean, well equipped and well maintained. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were delightful, extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We spent one night at Nobel Regency and it was the most unforgettable time we had in Sri Lanka. In the evening, we sat together, drank tea, played guitar, and laughed so much. The next morning, we were greeted with a beautiful, traditional Sri Lankan breakfast. Afterwards, we went with Rajew and a friend to a hidden waterfall that only locals know about. We had the entire place to ourselves and were able to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere for a long time. Later, we visited his friend’s home and shared a delicious meal together. The rooms were very clean and beautifully furnished, and the value for money was absolutely outstanding. It was a truly special experience, full of warmth and genuine connection. We are deeply grateful to Ruwan from the bottom of our hearts!

Even though hotel is located by the Ella-Wellawaya road, the location is very calm. Construction wasn't done in some parts of the facility. But the available rooms were at good standard. Good value to your money.

The room was spacious, with high ceilings and big comfortable queen-sized beds. Everything was clean and had everything we needed for a short stay. Great value for the price! You can also ask to store your food in the fridge if needed. But what really made our stay special was the amazing hospitality. We arrived a bit late and the owner was very kind to drive us to a nearby restaurant that was still open. He also helped us find a driver to another city late at night and was incredibly helpful throughout our stay.

Well, I liked almost all of the said facilities and we were on a pilgrimage and the stay was for a single night. We got all what we expected and the clean and dry toilet/ bathroom was excepcional. We all agreed on that. I recoment the property to any group who seeks basic amaneties for a calm pilgrimage.
