Our stay was exceptional. The property is very well maintained and in a lovely garden setting. We were the only guests as it was the off season but the service was still top notch. One of our group was ill for the stay and the staff were very kind and caring, and provided cold compresses, a tonic and dinner to the room for her. The dinner they provided for the group was ample and incredibly tasty. During that we enjoyed hearing about the property, the area and their experiences. This stay felt like a real home away from home thank you!

The room was lovely, the place was friendly and we had a great time. Great communication between Sam’s place and us before we travelled ensuring all our needs were met when we arrived. It's a traditional Sri Lankan house converted to a hotel and it's located right in the center of the Bibila city. The hotel staff is very polite and friendly to us. The food was also really delicious and we enjoyed it. The garden is also full of the plans and greens. 💯 recommended.

Struttura perfetta per chi cerca uno stop prima di Ella. L’hotel è molto semplice, pulito e tranquillo. Il proprietario è molto premuroso, ci ha aiutato a muoverci in zona ed è stato molto accogliente. Il giardino è molto bello e ben tenuto.

Michael was so friendly welcoming us with tea, cookies, and cooked us a beautiful dinner. The location is very nice and in the middle of nature with some great hiking spots and viewpoints close by. Michael even brought us on a longer hike in the morning where we had some king coconuts along the way. What a great experience! Would definitely recommend.

Clean guest house with great location for both Kataragama town and Yala. Both owner and staff are friendly, arranging safari tour (which was cheaper than other places), tuktuks as well as helping me get a bus home. Nothing was too small to ask and the owner went above and beyond. Incredible value for money.

Well, I liked almost all of the said facilities and we were on a pilgrimage and the stay was for a single night. We got all what we expected and the clean and dry toilet/ bathroom was excepcional. We all agreed on that. I recoment the property to any group who seeks basic amaneties for a calm pilgrimage.
